As much as I am enjoying the game, I think 1 playthrough will be good enough for me. Note, this is my first Witcher game, so I am not too invested in getting multiple endings, etc. This should last me to the end of June, then I'll dive into Batman and finally MGSV/MGO.
Great addition for gamers who didnt' get a chance to play the previous games. For me, I couldn't play through more than twice - very linear and not much else you can do (gameplay-wise) to create a different experience. MP was good (not great), I much prefered MGO and TLOU's style of co-op (much more team-based and demanded teamwork to succeed).
I know the SP will be an amazing experience. I just hope MGO3 can live up to its previous versions as this is what I invested a lot of my time in.
I'm on a 55" about 10-13 ft away. My eyes water trying to read the fineprint.

MGO2 was the first competitive online experience I thoroughly enjoyed.
I agree with the weapon cycling idea though. Can you imagine you're in a heated firefight and you run out of ammo, and start struggling with the d-pad menu? ugh. MGO2/MGS4 weapon cycling was great, I also liked the aiming better in those games.
I predict a new trailer with a release window, not date.
As a TSNE fan, I hope they don't change too much for that mode.
Seeing as hold-ups are gone, no mention of backstep/sideroll/playing dead/saltuing(to hide knife weapon while in stealth), I'm still trusting that they know what they're doing and hopefully they can improvise with the new mechanics and make this mode even better.
^ Finally, someone gets it.
I find that I had more control of Snake/characters in MGS4/MGO2 and it felt very natural. After playing GZ, though the animations are much better, controlling BB feels a bit stiff. I miss the side roll and backstep.
After second thought, I can see why they removed hold ups in MGO3, as the only way (based off GZ) to step back, is to turn your back. And if you did so in MGO2, it would trigger a hold up in TSNE.

Too bad they're removing hold ups.
Think it's wishful thinking to expect a release date during the Taipei game show on jan 31st?
TSNE is confirmed.
Looks great.
Obviously this was more of a showcase to demonstrate all the new features (and some old) of MGO. Im glad the stealth camo is still in. Hopefully TSNE makes a comeback as that was my favorite mode of play. Sounds like the codecs are back as well. And that headshot coin sound - like music to my ears.
I was hoping for a release date, but this will keep me hyped until then (please no later than next summer!)
I care more about MGO3 than the campaign tbh. Please show me some footage.
I enjoyed it on PS3, and I will do so again on PS4. Just hate seeing these articles that do nothing but tease us. :p
I was lucky to find the 2013 SONY w900a 55" floor display at BB. Got a great deal. Picture quality is amazing, the input lag is 17-22ms if I remember correctly. The 2014 w950b is about 15ms as well, but picture quality not as great as the w900a. Trust me, I 'tested' about 7 sets before finally getting my hands on the w900a. Great all-around tv. Sadly, it's discontinued now.
I can't even force myself to finish it. I wonder how much I can get if I trade it in now.
Maybe not best of 2013, but probably best launch title for me between PS4/XB1.
Although I'm a bit weary of the UC series, I'm looking forward to seeing what ND can do with it on the PS4.
Heart-thumping hype. 2.5 months ppl!
