As i said in my article, making the gamepad an input device just wouldn't have worked, it wouldn't just be enulating a classic pad it would also have to emulate the wiimote it was attatched to.

actaully since the pad has a sensor bar in it, it works fine with motion heavy games as well.

The only thing that s bit of a heascrather is how you launch the thing. you have to select that you want to play through the gamepad on the tv before it boots.
The version i saw was running on a PC, so it kind of straddles the line. The footage looked a lot better in person to be honest. had some really nice lighting. Game looks incredibly solid regardless of graphical quality.
