No not at all. I played Bayonetta 2 at eurogamer, absolutely blew me away, likewise Wonderful 101 is one of the best action games i've played all year.
I know its highly unlikely but i would love it if platinum ended up having a relationship with nintendo like rare did in the 90s. A platinum/treasure devleoped star fox would be incredible.
I would buy Bayonetta 1 on WiiU if they did a proper job of it by touching up the graphics a bit and making it 1080p, 6ofps like Bayonetta 2 is.
looks like this is the abox one's knack then. So basically the decision is based on how much you like racing games. the forza reviews tend to be positive.
I totally agree. in fact i'm currently writing my own article along a similar line. The WiiU is the perfect 2nd console. The xbone and the PS4 besically offer the same kind of experiences on the games front.
The WiiU offers something a little bit different to that. Occasionally you just want to play domething, simple, fun, weird and colourful and the WiiU scratches that itch and then some.
A challenge ay.
Mario 3D World
Wind Waker HD
Wonderful 101
ZombiU
Arkham City Armored ED
Bayonetta 2
Smash Bros
Mario Kart 8
X
Zelda WiiU
Rayman Legends
Fire Emblem X SMT
Sonic Lost Worlds
Here's 13 granted they're not all out yet but most bar maybe X and Zelda should by the end of next year.
dude, pretty much your entire list except minecraft has a movie version in the works.
Postal, the first silent hill, prince of persia was good, the ace attourney movie is absolutely brilliant.
The animated street fighter movies were pretty good.
Tales of Vespiria, Valkyia Chronicles, in fact most of the anime adaptations are pretty rock solid come to think of it. But i guess we're talking live action.
I can see streaming becoming a total pain in the arse for everybody concerned.
Times when mario has helped the sales of nintendo products
The NES - Mario Bros 1-3
The SNES - Mario World
The N64 - Mario 64
The GC -Mario Sunshine
The Wii - didn't need any help. Sports/ Zelda had them covered.
GB - Mario land
DS - NSMB
3DS - Mario 3d land/ mario kart 7.
So basically Mario has been a key component in every successful nintendo console.
If Wind Waker and Pi...
I dunno, i'd put money on 3d world getting much better reviews than knack. It's also a much more universal game than what the ps4 is currently toting in its launch lineup.
Look at it this way you spend £400 quid for a console you can play. or £150 less for one the whole family can gether round at christmas, It's not like you'll need to spend money on extra controllers either because they're probably boxede up somewhere with your old wii.
they said that about the 60gb PS3. Try finding a surviving one now, I bet you have some trouble.
yep, me too. Already got it preordered.
I'd say its the core gaming fraternity that are holding the WiiU up at the moment, you know the guys that buy and play everything regardless of platform.
I would say its the casual gaming market ie the cod, fifa and AAA focused gaming fraternity that nintendo need to cater for.
do you know if the australian eshop codes work on the EU 3ds? i assume they mist do if you can change the region. this is incredibly useful news.
i didnt even know you could change the region of the eshop atm
I personally think Nintendo are damned if they do and damned if they don't. If they brought out here next system and it was an absolutel beast of a machine with a ton of new ips. Everyone would forever be asking them where's mario and zelda.
Their current course on the otherhand has made them a ton of cash, and the fact of the matter is that nintendo purposefully held off on their own stuff to give third parties breathing room and they completely squandered that oppo...
does it deserve to be in the top 100. certainly, does it deserve to be #1. No. Its a great game and a fantastic story but it didn't have the kind impact for me at least that the likes of Fallout 3 or the original bioshock did.
I think this is a case of it being freshest in the momeory as apposed to actually being the best.
Started playing this the other night, its great.
also currently available as part of the humble weekly sale for $4 with deponia. well worth the cash.
Its 1080p native on the WiiU. it's not like its particularly demanding is it?
I personallly can't, but i think nintendo's list of exclusives for the next few months i'll do a bloody good job.
The sad thing about this article is that it confirmed something i've always known and hated. and thats that hype wins. if you can get the mob on your side it doesn't matter if you have the best product or the best games. And Sony are masters of hype.
