I totally agree. its got some great fmaily orientated bundles coming out for it, wont be hard to find and has had most of its teething problems ironed out.
If they could just get the advertising right i think it'll have a really good holiday season.
If nintendo's b list ips can stimulate this much of a turn around then think about whats going to happen when mario, smash bros, mk8, bayonetta 2, and the likes of metorid u and zelda u turn up i can see...
Precisely. look at the ps3, at this point in its life it was in a very similar situation, few games people waiting for a price cut.
Now look at it, its finally over taken the 360 in terms of life time sales.
Likewise the 3ds, first year everyone wrote it off now its the best selling gaming deivce on the planet.
The race is far from over.
you have to download it. the collection comes with a code for it.
Its already been done, Look at the likes of The Witcher seires and Deus Ex, and to a lesser extent Skyrim and Fallout.
All of these games contain a morality system as in their are options which are good and options that are morally questionale.
But at the end of the day they don't make any great difference except to who will accosiate with yuo and who wont.
Making a decent morality system is simple, it just has to present choice with no...
third parties are an issue for the wiiU, and one that every insider i have spoken to has been pretty cagey about. the best answer i got was from a producer at volition who said that it was just so much easier and cheaper to devlop for the ps3/360 because their architecture and support is at similar levels. So sadly nintendo don't get a look in.
But i'm not sure that its going to be an issue as far as the consoles success is concerned in the long run. I can honestly...
i think there's going to be room for both for a good few years to come and both have their merits.
Physical is nice because you have something that you can collect and trade, theres a certain sense of perminance.
digital on the other hand is great as it enables devlopers to release more experimental/niche games with less financial risk.
case in point, Phoenix Wirght on 3ds. i doubt it would have gotten a western release if it wasn'...
Yeah Nintendo are doomed!! I mean look at the 3ds its only been the best selling gaming device for the last 6 months everywhere....
And the wii what a flop only sold 100million units all at a profit.
And the games they make i mean come on, they're only some of the highest rated and most loved in the history of the industry. Look at all the games they've recently released. A remake which scored better marks athan most new game sout in the same month a ...
i think what he was attempting to do, was to respond to the article, inferrin doesn't matter g that this news oesn't matter because wiiu owners apparently don't buy third party games, which is something commonly spouted by idiots who don't own a wiiu.
I think they already dort of are, they're getting him out the way in their sort of ticklist of releases all the main mario games will be out by the end of next year as in NSMB, 3d mario, smash bros and kart.
ape007 no i'd say your assumption is as good as anyone's its just a theory, its not like ubi will ever give a definitive answer.
But the lines at eurogamer were far bigger for watch dogs than anything else. including cod and battlefield.
so whats assassins creed IV then, isn't that a huge open world game.
mine too mate, it was the only thing tempting my to get a ps4 in november and now i can eait till at least april when there should be some more stuff out for it worth getting as well.
This christmans is now all about playing mario on the wiiU
This isn't a launch trailer the games not out untill the 25th.
I think this could have a negative impact on the ps4 launch. Not a huge one but i could see some people who were going to get one day one for this now waiting untill it's released.
But personally i don't believe this whole quality schtick, this is a startegic move so that Watch_dogs isn't going up against ACIV. which it is currently ovreshadowing and then some.
I wasn't untill i finally played on one. I think that's the best advice i could give to anyone.
the benefits of the system are abvious once you have the pad in your hands.
I was well and truely on the fence unitll my mate bought one and i had a go on zombiU. It's subtle but once you've had the abilty to see your map at all times and adjust inventory and the like on the fly, you'll miss it when its gone.
Then when i got ...
What about nintendo. I'd say it would make more sense to go Sony or MS and Nintendo. The xbone and Ps4 are really much of a muchness in terms of content. the wiiU on the other hand provides a very different experience to either sony or ms's offerings.
The thing i loved most about Bastion's music, ither than the fact it was beautiful and folsy was that they released the sheet music for it for free so you could learn to play it yourself.
How? Steam OS is free. If you own a PC you can simply install it, i could see a lot of PC gamers moving to it or at least dual booting and i could see plenty of devs moving away from windows towards it because it lets them get a lot more out of then hardware.
IF anything its just going to continue to give PCs a huge edge over console gaming.
the entire point is that they don't need a publisher.
neither get mario 3d world instead. lol
