He doesn't even have to point to the ps2. Neither the 360 or ps3 have managed to catch up to the wii yet.
Likewise in the handheld market Nintendo have always had the less powerful machine and have always come out on top.
In terms of actual profitability as well Nintendo are in amuch better position. Sony and MS are going to have to sell a lot of games to recoup the hit that they are going to to take on the ps4 and xbone.

The problem here isn't with the Xbox one blocking used games, because it doesn't. The problem is with it dicating to you what you can do with software you bought and paid for in an incredibly draconian manner.

Nintendo must be loving it. Seriously they could run their own nintendon't campaign like the SEGA one from the early 90s but focus on all the reasons why the wiiU is far more consumer friendly than the competition.
Not to mention it already does most of the tv stuff MS were harping on about without cluttering up your tv screen.
Go and have a look at a list of devlopers that have closed over the last few years. You'll find most of them were woned by either Acitviviosn or EA. two companies that aren't huting for cash at all.
Here's how it works, Dev makes a game, EA and Acti either fail to promote it or meddle so much in its creative direction that when the game is finally complete it takes a critical hammering and no one buys it.

With all of the unknowns and rumours, I went out and... Bought a WiiU.
No always online, no drm, no mandatory installs, already has decent exclusives, nice community features,controls my tv in a non douchy way, lets me play mario on the loo and cheaper than the ps4 and xb1 will be at launch no doubt.
Seems the best bet a the mo. Once Sony clear up all the unknowns about the ps4 (especially the price) i might preorder one. Not getting an xb1. just no.
Have you played either of the Fatal Frame games on the Wii? They're the best in the series, The wiiU gamepad is the perfect fit for the game too.
I wouldn't mind Ninteno buying atlas isgea on the ds was ace so seeing more of it with touh screen controls on the wiiU would be brill.
