I think its a good move from Nintendo to put the wii fit trainer in. Its 1 of these things thats just so bizarre that it works. Beating down Bowser with some bad ass downward facing dog could be just about the most surreal thing ever.
PS4/WIIU great Multiplats, Nintendo exclusives and Naughty Dog
I think its cos we the Nintendo fans wanted more we didnt already know. Look at the January direct, they announced like 8 games noone knew about like X, shin megami vs fire emblem, yarn yosh. Originalish titles that look amazing.
This time we got Donkey Kong which is great but would be a game id assume would land at some point anyway.
Dont get me wrong I loved what was shown. The games are exactly what I wanted to see. I just wished they'd made it an hour...
Its cos most people wanted Retro's game to be Metroid.
I agree DK will be awesome but when you look at WiiU lineup we've had NSMB, new super luigi, rayman legends, yarn yoshi anx now this. And thats ignoring the amazing indie titles like runner 2 and cloudberry kingdom.
For me its too many key titles being sidescrollers. Im more of a 3D platforming kinda guy. If this had been 3dDKRU id have been more psyched.
As it is this is day 1 still...
I know right. Everyone thought Sega had raised the bar with all stars racing transformed then Nintendo go and do that. I wish it was 2014 already so I could get my grubby little paws on it.
Difficulty level will be insane as well cos your basically inverting the controls when you go upside down. Bravo Nintendo bravo.
Weve not long had a dk game which was great. Wish they had at least made it 3d instead of ANOTHER side scrolled. Ah well its Retro so itll still be incredible.
Whats annoying is that Microsoft showed more decent looking games than the other 2. Their issue isnt lack of games, its their ridiculous anti-consumerist policies and a poor pricing strategy.
Sony just came out and said, yeah we got some games too, we showed most of them at our console reveal but guess what? Unlike MS we give a shit about our fans...boom
Thats all they needed to do.
I found it a bit disappointing. DK the only 1 we didnt know about.
Thought Mariokart was the standout titlr. Would have thout KH3 would be a good fit for WiiU as well. Still time I guess.
I totally agree. I never thought wed be in a position where Nintendo is in a position to win e3 with no conference.
All they need to do is show the titled we know theyll show. Throw some 3rd party love in (KH3, MGS and GTA would do) and jit a price drop. Maybe highlight that online is FREE on WiiU and they win...
Star wars info please
It was a good conference. Very impressed, this from a Nintendo fan btw. Would have liked to see Banjo though. :( The big N needs to buy those franchises back and give them to Retro...
Nope but it was better than expected. Too much FPS for my liking but each to their own I guess. KI was a nice surprise but it wasn't 1 of the Rare games I was looking forward to.
Some impressive exclusives in there though. Ill probably get all 3 but will wait for that astronomical price to drop.
Could be the cost of the cloud network they claim to have setup. Now all they need to do is get ISPs to lay some fibre so people could actually use the cloud gaming concept.
were there not rumours of $90 games? Ill wait a few years for a price cut and to avoid the inevitable new console dearth of games/teething problems.
Pretty sure Reggie Fils-Aime was backstage and pulled the plug. Mainly because EA's bodies weren't ready...
Original IP from Miyamoto please. And whatever Retro is working on.
I agree. Id prefer to wait and see how things play out before making assumptions on MS killinv the industry.
Am I happy about DRM and tbe lack of used games? No, however it doesnt really affect me personally. I buy any game I really want day 1 everything else I will wait for a price drop but still not buy used. If this now means no price drop then ill only buy the games I really care about.
I have no interest in fanboy console wars, I just want fun, engaging,...
Think its a new Banjo game. Fingers crossed for something closer to the n64 versions than nuts n bolts...
Very poorly researched article. Lots of doom and gloom followed by speculation listing titles that are already confirmed for e3. Lazy gaming journalism.
1 of the best collections of gifs I have seen. Bubbles for funny.
