I hate to disagree with you. I loved Sonic in the 90s, he is the reason I got properly into gaming. Me and my brother spent hours with what is still 1 of the best local coop experiences in sonic 2 (especially the special stages)
My issue with sonic is that the new games just dont feel finished. There always seems to be something that stands out as a glitch or something that hasnt been tested right.
Generations was great on the 2d levels but I just havent bee...

How on earth did that happen? Pikmin 3 increased it by like 100%, wonderful 101 caused a slight bump, Windwaker did nothing (for Japan)....the almighty Wii Party U caused a 1000% increase in WiiU sales propelling it from 9000 unites behind the PS3 to 25000 units ahead of it.
Have I missed something? Has there been a massive price drop or bundle in Japan that has caused this.

They should do what Valve do with Half Life and Counterstrike and just make 2 seperate games, 1 with an awesome campaign and 1 with awesome multiplayer...However not sure that would work with the copy and paste job they have been doing because it would mean changing things up.

Its not that its too slow its that you cant go fast. You need momentum sometimes to jump gaps but thw game doesnt let you meaning you fall to your doom. Sometimes it does though lulling you into a false sense of security...
When mine crashes it does go off if you hold the power button on the actual.console. Dont use the gamepad it just switches itself off when its crashed
The article isnt saying WiiiU will outsell the other 2. They analyse social media and give points to each system/game based on mentions. So it could be "better pack up my wiiu so I can use it to pay off my ps4" and both will get a point. I have to say its still surprising that more people are talkin bout wiiu though.

Lost World is close to great. If the controls weren't soo poor it could have challenged Generations...however, it doesnt and now I can't wait for Mario 3D world to once again show Sega how they should have done things properly.
Nah that isnt it. I'm in the UK and bought this yesterday. Massive Sonic fan from the mega drive days. The reason this game is not good is the inconsistency with the control system.
1 minuted a jump will give you good momentum, the next he just stops and goes straight up in the air.
Boss battles are even more frustrating. Homing attacks don't work which is ok cos it kind of feels like cheating anyway, however once you jump on a boss's head 1 of 2 ...
