I remember a time when we could buy a game and it was the complete experience. Today games are hacked up and sold back to us in pieces, right after we've spent $60 on a full priced product.
I don't mind paying good money for a quality DLC, MHW Iceborne, Red Dead Undead Nightmare amongst others come to mind, but $10+ for a character or weapon skin?

My issue is not with the sales numbers, I agree PS4's numbers are extremely impressive, I even bought a Pro myself.
The issue I have is the stupidity of the very first comment in the context of the article title.
It's not colloquialisms, it's a quarterly financial statement, numbers are down YoY on the quarter, you can argue with it but the information came from Sony themselves.

I really hope it's as fantastic as it looks, I think Kojima makes games that are unique and exciting and if this trailer is anything to go by Death Stranding is exactly the type of game I wanted it to be.

If they've waited this long to purchase a console they are probably not the type to buy a Scarlett day one.
The fact that they joining the Xbox ecosystem this late in the game is a net positive for them, as they can pick up a complete generation of games at a massively discounted price.

it's the same when you buy any product on a finance agreement - car, sofa, television you always pay slightly more, it's a business model and the finance company isn't a charity.
This is for someone that wants an Xbox and a great collection of games, but for whatever reason don't want to lay down the full cash amount all at once.
It's a choice and choice is never a bad thing.

GP is a great deal for Xbox owners.
I'm playing the game on X with Gamepass, because of this I've got enough spare cash for Luigi's mansion 3!
I guess it was true when MS said that Gamepass was also driving sales on other platforms!
Looks like a great deal.
Get an X and 24 months of Gamepass, with the option to upgrade to Scarlett next year when it's released.

Surely, You want other gamers to be able to experience Kojima's creations- If you enjoy an excellent game why the hell would you not want your fellow gamers to experience that as well simply because of the platform they prefer?

Think someone looking to replace a 3DS rather than a PS4 or Xbox One.
