So their going the PC type rout and just having a steelbook with a code. Seems like an odd choice for consoles though. Should be an option between the 2.
Seems like a real non issue that articles are wanting to make into an issue. This isn't anything new.
Originally they asked to make Bulders Gate 3 but were rejected due to a lack of proof in their abilities as a studio. This is when they took their proof of concept and got it licensed as a Divinity game.
If I remember correctly after the success of 2 it was them who were approached to then make 3, having proven themselves. The directors talked about it a few times. Seems pretty open that he always wanted to make Bulders Gate so I guess we have to wait and see how it pans ou...
The 'in game purchases' description added to the ratings tag.
Also, why is every comment here atm marked as spam?
505 Games, the publisher
more than likely a move from 505 Games being the publisher. Devs rarely have a say in these sorts of things.
Lol, no.
Why would people just choose to stop making an entire genre of game?
I also hope this and still assume they will. The hiss seemed like a specific event and from what I remember wasn't directly linked to the other objects of power.
The memos in Control mention that Bright Falls had it's own separate event with The Federal Bureau of Control labeling it as one of the altered world event along with Alan's Typewriter being an Object of power. Hopefully we get a deeper look into the darkness and and ending that hints at a possible futu...
Imagine being such a fanboy loser that you want the hard work of a studio to be accessed by less people.
Microsoft have laid out their plans to make the 'Xbox' brand a service. The console is now just a piece of hardware for those who don't want to play on PC, phones or tablets or those who want more powerful and portable convenience. They've been pretty clear they are pushing the moving to service model and no longer aiming at a single market competition.
With this in mind I don't know why people thought it would just go free when the sale of these service...
@thesoftware730
I'm exactly the same. I own everything because I love games. I couldn't care less what box has it or not. Most the loyalty here I feel comes from kids or younger adults who can only afford 1 thing so feel they need to defend it or adults who are just weirdos with a loyalty to tech companies.
New mario, zelda, gears of war, halo, bloodborne, horizon or whatever it may be, I just want to play it.
Glad to hear you're enjoyong it mate.
As @MajorPectorals said, N4G is very bias so I wouldn't take the downvotes as anything serious. I also love my PS and play daily but around here anything Xbox/MS = instant bad for the most part. Have fun mate 😀✌
Yeah he said some shit like that after a bad dating experience or some shit but was a tweet from 2017 when Ian would of been like 14 or something. People are digging it up to somehow discredit him as being racist instead of just a dumb kid and it tweeted out often by some manic 'fans' who didn't like the sequel. Honestly it doesn't look like much of anything and seems people are reaching to be angry about.
I would assume it is timed exclusive.
Having a permanent exclusive of a tent pole Marvel character in an Avengers game would be a pretty shitty thing to do.
Regardless what people think of the game itself, the fact that this is made by a single person is very impressive.
Just a follow up side note: Anyone interested in more details can look up on youtube
YongYea - Top Ubisoft Execs Resign After Awful Work Environment & Creative Practices Are Exposed
This video goes over the most recent article and findings.
Hopefully with Serge Hascoët now gone and the reshuffle that needs to happen we finally get some fresh games that aren't required to follow the formula along with revitalized IP's.
My guess would be Serge Hascoët, Chief Creation Officer, who was recently stood down over the whole Ubisoft investigation shot it down.
Journalists and Ubi employees have are saying he was the head shot caller on what does and doesn't get made. He was the main reason behind the Ubisoft 'formula'. More recently Mark Laidlaw came out and said that it's basically what happened with his King Arthur game.
I always enjoy these broad headlines.
>"The findings come via a wide-ranging survey of over 3,000 pop culture fans in the UK undertaken by pop culture agency Experience12."
3000 'pop culture fans' in a single country from a single user base extrapolated to represent over half of 'gamers'. The rest of the stats seems like a very specific demographic pool being used to paint with broad strokes.
I'm lookin...
This is all PC collectors editions for years. They seem to just be going that way with it for some strange reason with console. Really it should be optional for those on buying on console.
