If your a film or tv buff then absolutely disc is better. Especially for a high end tv and a good audio system.
Yeah, seems they have added a 60fps mode to the patched version of the game so we don't have to run in 1.0 mode to get the 4k check@60. I'm happy with that as I couldn't load old saves on the PS5 because they were updated versions.
While true it's still not widely accessible being only on the Gamecube and never ported. A remake would fix this.
@ILostMyMind
There's a difference to saying "I will get it on pc/ps5" compared to "I will not be getting it on pc/ps5".
Like I said, it's the same game supporting the same developer regardless of where you buy it. I'm gonna assume it's just downvotes from some odd playstation fandom. I love my PS5 a lot but this site has a lot of fanboy weirdos on all sides.
What's with the smooth brains down voting people just because they aren't getting the playstation version. It's the same game.
For ps5 owners. You can run the last guardian unpatched on ps5 for 60fps and God of war unpatched for 4k60. The patched version implimented frame locks and the 2 seperate modes of performance and fidelity.
Only works for disc versions obviously. Be sure to pause the patch at the start of running the game and enjoy.
Another side note.
Running an unpatched version of Last Guardian also unlocks the frame rate to 60fps.
As a side note for anyone interested.
You can play god of war at 4k60 if you run the unpatched 1.0 version of the game.
"The Potential of What Could've Been"
Show the potential of what can be. I'm sure the PC modding community will do quiet a bit more and refine this as well just as they did with witcher.
Same on PC. Im just under 20 or so hours in and have been digging it. 99% of the bugs I have seen jave been an odd UI issue or items floating which has been rare. I have seen the base console footage and it doesn't even look like the same game.
Heaps of people want to be able to play old games and replay favourites often.
Yeah, I played it recently on the 1080p performance mode on a new 4k TV and it looks pretty blurry compared to tye high def mode on the ps5
The BR player is a decent 4k player. It has support for Atmos in movies but you currently have to select it during movie play in a settings menu to get it working I believe.
"They"
The nominees are picked by industry press then are open to the public for voting. So 'they' would be us, the customers.
Go vote for what you want to win

GoT looks and plays amazing. Hoping more games get patched like it and Days Gone did. Was hoping God of War would be patched but nothing so far.
60fps on The Last Guardian is fantastic as well.
Did they say it would? It just adding functionality so people with a pc and ps5 can use the same controllers
After playing about 3 hours today I do agree, the audio is indeed very impressive. Everything has so much impact behind it.
Same. I got a day 1 ps5 and no xbox because I already have a PC, so no horse in the race but as for "anyone going to fall for this bait?", yes.. yes they are. Some sad sacks regardless of how accurate information is will take any excuse to have a dog at the console they don't own.
Yeah, this isn't really a thing anymore. The ratings board needs to be replaced already.
Crusader Kings 3 has the same, so no physical sale but was still on gamepass. The Medium will be the same.
Ever since they banned Left4Dead 2 they've been usless as people just bought copies from overseas.
Roller coaster would imply continuity of highs and lows. We've had 1 trailer.
