Well, the easiest thing to pick out is the fact that it says "cartridges cannot hold as much space as discs." This is entirely wrong. In all technicality, cartridges and cards have unlimited space potential. Costs only dictate ow much will be used.

Heck yeah Nintendo has strict NDAs. Is this your first time around the industry? Nintendo hardly EVER has any leaks or slips. That's why so much is a shock at E3.
Don't forget though that one of th ebiggest reasons for the PS3 being so expensive was Blu-ray and the fact that it was new tech. Blu-ray is most likely still going to be used. This means half the battle of their high pricing is over. If the Cell CPU isn't being used, this could also cut costs down. This opens up the door to a bigger and badder GPU without the console skyrocketing in price.
No, DRM is officially THE biggest reason for pirating games. Look it up. AT one point in time Spore was the most pirated game ever.... and that game was the start of a new type of DRM that we still see today. The article is right.
