I actually think they'd sell more Pro's if they just came out and said not to expect it until 2019. I think that's why some are iffy on buying a Pro.

Kinda took me back to the FF7 crossdressing scene. LOL I thought it was funny and enjoyed it. It was a quick thing that really doesn't mean much.

People that think being underpowered was the Wii and Wii U's issue with why 3rd parties didn't support those consoles are dead wrong. The graphic technologies used in them was the issue. The Switch has fully up-to-date tech (just slower) and fully support all major and indie game engines. That's the difference. It's like having a GTX 1050 GPU in one computer versus a GTX 1090 Ti. That's the current situation. In the past, the Wii and Wii U would have been like PCs running ...

The original interview never said "slightly better than the Wii U." It said "performance between Wii U and Xbox One"...... jesus. Even gaming news is fake anymore. It's also notable that the Wii U didn't have the latest graphics technologies. The Switch does. They may be turned down a bit because of the lower end hardware compared to PS4/Xbox One, but all tech is there and support for all major Engines is there too.

NewMonday: I don't really understand the argument that it increases the grind. You typically find weapons near enemies or make the ones you fight drop weapons..... you never really have to grind to get weapons. They're all around you.

Plenty of character development for Link if you take the time to complete side quests, especially the Zelda memories. Really gives some meat to him.

Why does everyone say it's using an X1? Nvidia would have said that if it were using it, but they didn't. They specifically said the Switch is using a custom Tegra chip using their GTX architecture. We can't go by the price or performance of the X1 as it isn't an X1.

@Keltech: That image is from WW1...not WW2 and our body armor today is still called a flak jacket. The term wasn't exclusive to WW2.

@ LOL_WUT: Technically, a flak jacket just means it isn't based in the future.... we still wear flak jackets today, they just don't look the same. However, I do agree that is a definite flak jacket in the teaser, but the neck gaurd flaps didn't exist on WW2 flak jackets.

That's cool and all and I can respect the amount of detail put into this, but damn can they do a better job on the hair and cloth affects when colliding with objects??? Jesus. The hair is especially horribly rendered when laying on the ground. Just keeps popping all over the place....

No need to worry. It looks like this gamer just happened to hit the perfect storm of things all at once. The match was extremely lagged, which would be sending bits and pieces of incomplete code into the system Flash Memory. He then exited out of the match probably while some partial code was in the middle of saving and the command to remove said code was never given. A quick patch from Nintendo will probably be released in a week to have the system release any partial code left over from an ...

Nintendo does this on purpose. Anything that isn't a smart device is good to Nintendo. This is just to help the game industry against those other devices.

Sorry, but limitations are usually a good thing when it comes to creating something especially games. Limitations create innovative and new ideas.

@LogicalReason: it's sad you only look at extra buttons to say if it's next-gen or not. You realise they doubled the RAM, added 4MB of Video RAM, increased the CPU/GPU speed, added a tracking camera to allow 3D to be viewed from any angle, a surrounding light sensor in order to auto-adjust the back-light of the screen AND added much needed buttons..... I'm also assuming they added wireless-N support due to the faster download times (contrary to popular belief, the faster CPU would...
