Where are these figures coming from anyway? I can only find one article from Microsoft themselves with this figure included and that was announcing at the end of Q4 (announced in July) that they had shipped 11.6 million units worldwide.

You're talking sales, the article is about shipped numbers. There are probably more units than normal shipped in the run-up to Xmas but they will still be shipping a normal amount Jan-March.
they're talking about shipping units in the year to end of March, not by December. That's possible. Selling that number might be a bit tight though.
Not sure if you're being ironic ironman. You slate someone for listing 360 games that are not out yet then list a bunch of them for the PS3 that are also not out yet. Logic = banzored.

I'm liking the detail - realistically carrying your gun across your body when you run, awesome smoke & lighting effects. Can't wait for this game.

Please tell me if I'm going mad but where does it say anything in the article (except the misleading headline) about PS3 and 360 framerates being potentially any different. He's talking about all versions being 30fps to not limit the action isn't he?
Good point about skin colour and what it means to zombie games - white people are pink skin-coloured so it's obvious when they turn into zombies when they have gaunt white skins covered with big red sores. On black skin it probably is harder to spot,

Yeh the same problem has been occuring for Call of Duty 3 and some other games by the sounds of it
Sure there are differences but does it really tell us anything about each console? Maybe they didn't have enough development budget left ofter to develop the PS3 version to the level of excellence they wanted to.

If Halo3 isn't as good as COD4 and MGS4 then they will probably get higher average scores - why wouldn't they? Or do you have some sort of tin-foil hat conspiracy about why they aren't going to? The MetaCritic average uses games sites that review all sorts of games on all systems so I don't really see what you're getting at.
