Funny, Im the opposite. I refuse to waste energy that is associated with plastic dics (from their shipping, storage, manufacture etc).
I *MUCH* prefer download. I stopped buying CDs and DVDs and 100% switched to downloadable alternatives years ago.
Digital Distribution is clearly a better solution, and the time for Digital Distribution is now.
Oh really? Do you have access to Warranty Data from another firm?
And, if the news is actual good news for MS, we'll get a story from Kotaku who will spin it to be a negative and load the article up with all kinds of anti-MS language to undermine the news.
A MS Press release who's title reads:
"Xbox 360 sells 20 Million consoles"
Turns into this on Kotaku (and a few other editorially-worthless sites that N4G's resident fanbase loves"
"Inspite of constant failure, MS tricks 20 Million suckers&qu...

The "33%" number is an urban legend that was born as a quote from an anonymous game-store owner in australia.
Its stupidity repeated by Sony Fans to make the problem look worse.
This number is from actual data from a Warranty company, and honestly, is the *ONLY* and *FIRST* actual information that is even remotely accurate.
16% of the *existing* base. I'd be very interested to see some mor eof that data.
Because the Sony Defence Force runs this website.
Every day we have to have as many anti-microsoft stories as possible. Vista blah blah. RROD blah blah. HD-DVD blah blah.
As proof, spend some time counting the instances of M$ instead of $ony and you'll get an idea of the quality of discourse that N4G offers.
"the only reason this game is not getting 9's across the board is because it isnt called "Final Fantasy"
Bears repeating. Nar a truer word has ever been spoken on this Forum.
Remember, it was Sony Games who were caught trying to buy reviews. We've had stories here on N4G about it.
Remember, it was Sony Films who were caught writing their own reviews and using them to promote their films.
Sony admits it in 2001: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/...
and were sued for it:

Except, their opinion of R&C was based on the actual shipping code.
Whereas, this review was given a lower score because they didnt know they were playing pre-release code. And, some of the faults they held down the score-for were not present in the final shipping version.
The two situations are very different situations.
I was really happy MS & Mistwalker released the free DLC for Blue Dragon. The DLC made the game harder. IT really forced the player to play with the deep tactics the gameplay offered.
I prefered the game the 2nd time through... the first time was great. The 2nd play was the best JRPG I've ever played.
Of course you did. You knew how Microsoft's supply chain was operating.
or, maybe -- just JUST maybe, you've got a pre-disposition to malign MSFT? maybe?
There may be some info on the Exclusive Ultimate Grand Theft Auto IV experience coming to Xbox 360.
Maybe a new vehicle type? Maybe new territory? Who knows, but I'm a big fan, I cant wait to play the ultimate GTAIV on Xbox 360.
Are you kidding? MS has been 100% tight lipped, they have a dont-tell policy about things that arent being delivered in a short-time-frame.
There aren't leaks, they've been bringing stuff in a time-line much much closer to release.
They dont make promises, they deliver.
Its just a funny joke.
In places outside the USA, the American Taliban doesnt keep women's nipples off Television.
Not a big deal. Oh, and she had nice guns.
There is no reason to think it is being rushed. MGS has had incredibly high-quality standards. Im confident they are picking the date they want. Not that they "need".
These projects are well planned.
That said, I wish it was a little later really. Im not going to be finished the first run of Lost Odyssey by then.
Im was going to pre-order Fable 2 - and I will if there is incentive (discounts or free content) - but if not, I'll be wait...
From MS I expect some info on some kind of XNA Games distribution. What form it takes, I dont know...
Uhm, IM sorry, what on there says "In game XMB"?
Read the article.
The Studios are choosing BR in order to deny you your rights.
Why are you so proud and happy about that?
You dont know what your rights are son. Dont come and babble at me.
New DRM schemes deny me the ability to put the content into a form that permits me to watch it at my convenience.
You have the right to copy what you own to other formats.
BR is *designed* to prevent that so they can control how / when you use your own content.
@4.1
You dont care if Blue Ray takes away your fair-use rights?
What we see here is a PS3 owner, so emotionally invested in his console playing blueray movies that he doesnt care that his rights as a citizen and a free person are being intentionally denied him by Sony (and RIAA / MPAA cohorts).
I mean, really, in the end who cares? Xbox 360 users can just buy a BR player for $100 next year, who fcuking cares.. but I digress. If BR ends up being th...
What you have is a Sony-hard on.
