The Wii U has a Tri-Core CPU. With 4 threads per core.
The PS3 runs at 3.2Ghz and has 1 PPU and 8 SPU's (only 6 are usable)
Now on paper it seems that the Wii U doesn't seem as powerful in terms of the CPU but we'll have to see.
The DS Lite came out a year and a half after the DS. Announcing it now would be in time with that kind of window.

The vita is not "dead" and never will be for a while to come, people seem to have this strange perception of what is classified as dead for a console. The Vita is not dead.

I'm sorry but how did Bungie "Whore out" the Halo franchise? They released 5 games in 10 years.
They didn't leave MS because of franchise abuse, they decided to stop making Halo games because they wanted to move onto something different.
There's rumours that for cross-platform PS3 games that exist on Vita + PS3 if you buy the PS3 version you will get the Vita version for free. I hope it's true for AC3 if it's on the Vita
It would be pretty neat if they did what they're doing with Sly: Thieves in time on the PS3 and Vita where if you purchase the PS3 version you get the Vita version for free and you can transfer saves between the two.

Bungie deserve that spot more than Bethesda, Bungie are one of the best developers out there for listening to fan feedback.
It wouldn't actually, if you go and watch some of the vids they have the processing power required by the engine isn't a lot because the "atoms" that they have are mapped 1:1 with pixels on the screen.
Have you even read the article? It's about how Xbox Support, or other small companies GIVE these hackers or "jackers" our information just because they provide a few details that makes them seem legitimate.
It's there fault that these accounts are being hacked and something needs to be done to stop it.
