@jmc8888, you hit all the right nails in the head. You may now shove this DRM for Single Player experience "coffin" where it needs to be. That is, 6 feet under.
I'm eagerly awaiting more surprises from Sony in the coming months. E3 is just the tip of the iceberg for sure!
But this game is not MMO; D3 is not MMO; as far as I'm concerned SimCity is not an MMO. Always-connected for a game with a supposed Single Player mode is pushing things a bit. For gamers with only a few hours to play and at specific times only should have access to games that they paid for and bought - not restricted by forced patches and server maintenance.
I don't think I have to explain further than that.
Always-on and always connected should be dumped and be forgotten completely. Look at the backlash to SimCity. Diablo 3 was lucky it got away with it. But if they continue to use this DRM strategy, people will definitely look elsewhere for their gaming fix.
Yeah, I actually brought this topic in one of my country's local forums. I had to sleep 10 hours and made sure I feel fresh the morning I attempted to get Lulu's Ultimate Weapon. Luckily, my preparation worked. I hope I can pull it off again this time!
I think the real question here should be is: Will Diablo 3 sell on the PS4 or PS3 knowing that the game doesn't really offer much?
Well, there are those that are easily swayed away froma game because of false statements. Many peole these days are holding off on buying games because of the steep prices.
Anyway, I'm going back to playing this game. Its online really shows promise and can still be improved in the next GoW game!
Now if thy can only publish and release FFvs13 and KH3 as in now then I would applaud them. Until then, I'll applaud those devs who made the games.
I don't know why this game is getting very low reviews when the technical, artistic, gameplay aspects of this game are spot on.
Well, I don't know what version of GoW: Ascencion you guys are playing, but I'm having a blast with it. And I know this is their first time to have online, but I had a great time playing it with a friend (co-op) and against 7 other players (competitive).
To each his own, but this score is too low.
The new rage meter is better used in this game in that certain moves can only be used whiel it's filled up. Elemental-specific actions/attacks can also only be performed while this gauge hits maximum!
I tried the MP and I liked it. I don't understand why other reviewers felt it like it's tacked on. Dead Space 2's MP was tacked on, that I can say. Sorry for bringing up DS2, but it's true.
It's heartwarming to hear devs, both big ones and indie companies alike, testifying for Sony. In the long run, other devs will realize how Sony gives an ample amount of freedom when it comes to making games and how much they give importance to innovation, artistry, and uniqueness in games. Journey, anyone?

The Square-Enix hullabaloo has got to be the most misplaced and awkward experience in my gaming life. If they showed FFX HD for the PS4 then we could've called it a day and have been merry. But, no. The stage was lifeless after the old footage was shown, and we turned into zombies when the other guy took the stage and virtually did nothing.
SE, if you don't give us something WE like at E3, just please, go back to announcing new games at your own CLOSED MEGATHEATRE eve...
I've played the demo twice! TWICE! That's a big deal for me. Though I've always been a GoW fan, I was never one to go gaga over a demo; not even for games that I'm a fan of.
Anyway, I wish I had the money to buy the CE or DE or whatever extra edition there is. Luckily, I care mostly about the game on the disc! Woohoo!!!
I love the Killzone franchise. My personal favorite is KZ2. This one looks great and awesome.
Now, a question: Do you guys would like it if this game features semi open world? Or wide-linear type of traversal? If GG can pull it off, why not?
I never bought into AC2: Brotherhood, Revelations, and AC3, probably due to this subtle trend (not so subtle now, I guess). However, I think that this release is too soon.
I also think that the title Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag could be indicative of several AC4 sub-games in the future like, "AC4: Brotherhood, Red Flag, Green Flag, etc." This is just my opinion and view on the matter.
Keep it so this game gets more sales than it deserves. Let's hope a JRPG game is being developed for the PS4 so it can be launched when the console launches too!
When I was watching the gameplay footage, I started to feel very emotional. As if I felt nostalgia and longing at the same time! The music in the background added to this melancholia too.
I made up my mind! I'm gonna buy this game!
