I have nothing more to say against this seemingly never-ending "13" series, but I really wish this is the last game for Lightning and everyone in this universe. What's worse is, this dragged on for too long that renaming vs13 to 15 and everything else about it just chopped off my anticipation for anything SE for the next gen.
Yeah, I want to know more about Ish. I don't really need to play as Ish, but probably have a sidestory that would have Joel and Ellie finally encounter Ish.
This will be the only SE game in a long time that I know I will buy and won't get disappointed in. I just hope the framerate remains the same if not improved.
@Inception, yes. Sorry for the confusing grammar. You need to survive 12 weeks with at least one clan member alive.
@Inception, the asterisks or dots represent the number of 12 weeks your successfully completed. So one dot/asterisk means you were able to finish 12 weeks.
I'm at my 21st week now and have one asterisk going 2.
I believe you have your game patched which means you can choose not to play against partied up players. Choose the (no party) option for Supply Raid or Survivor.
I know it's difficult to get the third level requirement for a mission. Given that you need to avoid 100% complete annihilation of your clan, my tip is to reserve the healing missions in your latter weeks as healing is easier and quickest to fulfill. Just keep healing your teammates and see your mission completed...
Ha? Scaling games and their online capabilities don't have to depend on the always-online infrastructure. If your game is online only, then go ahead and incorporate always-online but only for that particular game. A console forcing this system for every game, both online and offline, is pushing it.
I love this game's MP so much. It was a little awkward to get into at first, but I braved it! Now if they can only add host transfers this game will be more enjoyable as you don't have to worry about losing a day and a huge chunk of your population when the losing team disconnects.
I also look forward to more maps, and real-time random events (like Clickers showing up mid-battle) added in the future.
I will disagree since you didn't say, "for me..."; This topic encapsulates the MP of this game being best in this year so I will agree on it! :P
I'll pretend there's no one here stealth disagreeing with neutral to good comments about this game.
I would like to see TLoU get the 96% average rating on Metacritic. Good job, ND!
I want to try this game too. As a work around, you can create a mock Japanese account and download the demo. If you can brave the Japanese text instructions that is.
This game's MP has a strong emphasis on camaraderie. Having a headset to chat with your friends is also key to winning. The level system is very subtle too in that your level rank is based on your survival and not on earned currency. I love the MO so far - very different. That said, I know ND can improve upon this template. I would like to see random events happening in real time rather than text-based.
Lol @ J-blaze. At least he was able to 'borrow' the game from a friend. Make the most out of it, since you won't be able to do that 'borrowing' anymore when you get your Xbox One!
The concept is very much like Starhawk's. No wonder I wasn't that giddy about it when they showed it. Still, it's good that MS is securing new IPs. Hope this momentum continues.
The problem is, with the slew of perfect scores coming in in mind, Metacritic still has this game at 95% (not that this is a bad thing, this is superb). You would think that by now TLoU should be at 07%. Metacritic on the other hand is no longer adding critic reviews save for quartertothree's 3 of 5 stars review which lowered the score from 96% to 95% yesterday.
Funny that StickSkills and many other perfect 10 scores aren't uploaded on Metacritic, but quartertothree's is? This game should be at the 97% mark now. I wonder what's going on or who's slacking off in tabulating these rave reviews.
Me likey! I'm getting a V for Vendetta feel in this game!
The inclusion of that zipline via the OWL companion is indicative of more freedom in the environments. I'm thinking this game will have bigger maps in the Single Player campaign while still being linear. Think Crysis 2.
I'm going to get this game day one!
I didn't make a mistake preordering this game. It's sad I didn't preorder Uncharted 3 and so missed Treasure Hunters Club!
Uhm the weapon sway can be updated as opposed to what the reviewer just mentioned. Once you maxed out the weapon sway, you can easily aim at enemies with little to no sways.
