About risks: I am sure there are risks or downsides, King_Noctis. It might not be JUST security-centric ones, and risks that consumers like us understand, but they may be centered around the business side of things for Sony among other things. And once again, like I said, I respect Sony to not let cross-play run its course in the vein people have been clamoring about. I am fine with great games which Sony have been delivering for years now. Thing is, this cross-play has been blown out of prop...
Deleted.
But Sony allows cross-play with PC and mobile. I think we should respect their decision of not allowing cross-play with Swtich and Xbox which are their direct competitors. I am no expert in networking, but I believe there are more intricacies surrounding cross-play than just turning something on. I also think there are risks involved in it that Sony are not prepared to take.
I kinda have an idea why so many people are pushing for this cross-play thing--inclusion. Look, I'm all for respecting people, though I don't like the PC (political correctness) culture most of the time. That said, if this inclusion thing is going to invade my gaming, I kinda have a problem with that. What next? All Sony exclusives should come out on rival consoles just to appease everyone? Fun fact: You can never please everyone!
I am hoping we get something far more substantial than what they have shown last E3. I really want to get a feel of the game, so a gameplay demo would be very much appreciated at this point.
I must admit that Xbox makes really good-looking controllers. I particularly love that custom-made fiery orange one. That said, I think the brand is too focused on releasing new controllers rather than new and exclusive games. Just my opinion.
Oh boy, the slew of highly positive reviews for this game will somehow make me regret not getting it for Spider-Man limited edition console version!
The argument that games (these days) are expected to last anywhere between 5 and 40+ hours is indeed THE argument. And they shouldn't just last those hours, they should also be good depending on what type of game each is trying to be. Game consumers pay $60 on a regular basis, and they expect to have their purchase justified by quality--and quality often translates to longevity, and by longevity I mean length + quality. There should be a balance between length and quality, otherwise the g...
I think it's realistic in a sense, like breasts shouldn't jiggle the way they did in previous iterations if the female characters in this game now bind their breasts just like female fighters in real life. I am not an SJW, I'm just pointing out facts. Women who fight (think MMA and boxing) really do prefer their chests not getting in the way as much as possible.
A remaster of this mighty game should make many JRPG fans go gaga! I played this game twice back in the day--a rare thing for me to do. If Secret of Mana got a proper remake, why not this one? SE can keep the same camera perspective; just spruce up the graphics and all that. They don't need to go the FFVII Remake route.
Spider-Man and Dragon Quest XI alone will make my wallet cry in September. It would be best if SE postpones TR's release until late November.
I think an RE3 remake is a no-brainer at this point. That said, I would like to see a complete remake/reboot of Onimusha. Capcom is really flying high this generation with a nice blend of revivals, sequels, and new IPs. I hope they keep the momentum going into the coming years!
As young Drake, Holland fits the bill. If he gets to maturity a bit more, he could play the more adult Drake. Nathan Fillion did amazing with Drake in that fan-made film, though. Things will only get more interesting from here on to say the least.
The previous DOA game was more objectifying than the 6th SC. That said, I welcome DOA6's more refined depiction of its female characters, as one of its creators actually admitted. Could SC6 be depicting women in an offensive way? That's debatable. However, I don't mind redesigning Ivy to her SC2 version--you know, where she didn't need a steel bra to keep her breasts up. LoL!
For me, if we factor out the weird and unusual intermission, Sony did a solid presentation. I am sure Sony will not do the same format next year. But, anyway, yeah, they showed us meaty trailers for their current big four and made us drool with those third party announcements--Nioh 2, Control, and RE2 Remake!
I don't want to put MS in the picture, but since many people consider that their showing won them E3, allow me. Although they were at peak pace showing us games, w...
Good to know. I thoroughly enjoyed the slow-paced start of every match in TLoU's main MP. I can say that I am heavily looking forward to sinking in many hours playing part 2's MP. I don't want to throw this out there, but if there's one game that is contextually deserving of a battle royale / survival mode, it's TLoU 2.
Outside the unusual transition after the gameplay reveal for The Last of Us II, Sony's presser was spectacular. I wouldn't dare say it tanked--far from it in fact.
Boom! Seeing this game in hi-res gave me goosebumps. Great gameplay reveal. I liked the band of villains too!
Yeah! I shall beat the hardest difficulty in preparation for the NG+. I hope SSM adds a few new stuff in the new mode!
That trailer got me the shivers--something I haven't felt for a long time! Color me super hyped! More info should come at TGS 2018 right?
