Unless there is an achievement/trophy for successfully speedrunning a game, which this demo clearly hasn't, I really see no point in accomplishing such a thing.
I appreciate the effort of rebooting the TR franchise with this trilogy, but I thought the become-the-tomb-raider arc dragged on for too long--like it took Lara 3 games to become the Tomb Raider, really?
You're right. Still, I am biased towards God of War.
I haven't played RDR2 yet, but I know I will have a blast doing so--considering I am truly drawn to that spaghetti western culture. That said, I choose God of War as my personal GoTY; like I don't think my mind would change even if I get to play RDR2. God of War is just such a powerful entry in the series on almost all fronts!
Thank you for sharing that info, friend. Still, to me the title sounds too, I don't know, unlikeable.
I might get burned alive here for saying this, but the title Cyberpunk is too corny for me. I also think I am in a very, very small minority here, because I am not finding Cyberpunk interesting in the slightest..
It's just too bad it wasn't a stellar FF game, not with its plot-holed and muddled narrative.
Not that repetitive elements are a bad thing in triple-A games. As long as they add a few cool ideas here and there, with an engaging story to boot, I'm all good. I wish David Jaffe starts creating something familiar again. Drawn to Death could've been a hit, but at its launch the market was enjoying the likes of Overwatch that it struggled to keep itself afloat.
I want to be positive on this, so let me just say that, while I'm by no means glad that FFXV just had its remaining DLCs cancelled, I am now even more excited to hear news about the next non-remake, non-MMO mainline FF game!
I would buy this game if they rework it to play well on the PS4 or XboxOne (without gimmicks in the form of motion or Move controls). Konami should remake it. But knowing the company's self-inflicted downhill trajectory in console gaming, they may not. :(
Could it be considered a remaster if it lacks some form of microtransactions? I really wanted to go back to the AC series when Origins came out (I'm a sucker for ancient Egyptian lore), but when I found out that it featured loot boxes, I was ultimately turned off. The newest AC doesn't help either, with its XP boost and whatnot microtransactions.
Killrizone Zerofall! Seriously, I enjoyed KZ2's MP, so I am down for whatever MP game they have of that caliber.
I can't wait to play Metroidvania-styled games on Dreams. I hope I would have lots of time in my hands when this releases, as I plan to make visual presentations (at least) of some of the more known stories in the Bible. :)
I haven't played it in any form, but I have to agree. That gameplay part where you get to kill those hordes of infected really does look intense! It reminds me of engaging a Bid Daddy in a fight in Bioshock 1--you really need to be prepared before doing so!
Thing is Chloe Frazer has the character that the new Lara should have had. That said, CD must have avoided giving the new Lara a similar personality lest they lose originality. Problem is, they made the rebooted Lara a bit too one dimensional and not very interesting as a result.
That part of the gameplay loop where you get to eliminate hordes of enemies sold me on this game even further! Well, four months to go!
I like it so far. For me, Days Gone is Day One!
Ok, having crossplay across all platforms is good, but I don't care if it's there or not. You know what I care about mostly in gaming? Sweet, sweet videogames--games that Sony have been delivering for decades now.
I see MS is still about that "TV TV TV" thing. I kid, I kid LOL.
I hope it's a mostly offline experience. I say mostly because a soulslike online play is welcome in my book.
