Yeah, that plot twist didn't work for me. I wish SO3 isn't canon, but it is. Anyway, SE can just sweep SO3 under the rug perhaps by soft rebooting the franchise.
I haven't played the last two rebooted TR games, so I cannot really say how good the series is from a gameplay standpoint. That said, I didn't like the "become the tomb raider" hook across three games. As for Uncharted, sure, it might not have the openness of the rebooted TR, but the adventures therein are thrilling and edge-of-your-seat in quality. The characters in the UC series are also so much more likeable than the TR reboot. I also disagree that there is no relationshi...
I was really looking forward to the multiplayer mode in this game. I mean, make no mistake--TLoU2 still has my money, but scrapping mp completely makes me quite sad.
It's coming out a couple of weeks before FFVII Remake? Yup, wallet = zombie! Seriously, my wish of this kind of release date for TLoU 2 has just been granted! Thank you, God! :)
I want that same line to come out of Konami Japan's mouth. Still, I want to give them a chance. I want to see their big three--MGS, Silent Hill, and Castlevania--be revived and revived good. I also want to see new IPs of AAA quality from them.
What if it's a collaboration between Insomniac (Sony) and Capcom? It's a Resistance reboot of sorts where the backdrop is the same as what is seen in the first game, but instead of being about an alien invasion, it's about a zombie outbreak?
I would support your next game, Team Silent. I would be even more delighted if it's indeed gonna be a spiritual successor of sorts to the SH franchise.
ND didn't share MP details for the first The Last of Us until about a month before the game was to release, so I am confident that ND is also holding off on the deets on this one until close to release.
Good on them! I wish Konami does the same! I want my Silent Hill game!
All I can say is wow and about time to know more about this game. I am now 100% hyped about Death Stranding!
In my opinion, we should be past that experience. We've had like 2 or 3 trailers giving us that very effect, so I believe Kojima should give us something more concrete in terms of gameplay.
Too many rats = 7/10. Haha, kidding! Anyway, this game is fast becoming a surprise hit!
I'm getting this and Concrete Genie this fall! Way to go, Sony!
I just wish they give console gaming a bigger space in their portfolio outside the yearly soccer games and, in my opinion, lazy anniversary bundles. I really want another GOOD Silent Hill game! Oh well, until then at least we still have Capcom to scratch our survival horror itch.
If they go the Uncharted route where the second one came out with a multiplayer, it's safe to say that DG2 will have a similar mode. Personally, Bend Studio can implement a co-op mode where you and a buddy will have to clear a massive horde for some cool in-game rewards! Imagine the tension and planning pre-engagement!
Covering up the women in games is something I am ok with BUT as long as they still look feminine--attractively feminine. The problem with games these days, and MK 11 is the most recent one of such, is that female characters are starting to look like males. And many women try their best not to look like men!
I get the point of the article; however, I appreciate Deacon's monologue most of the time, especially when he reacts to the things that he hears (e.g. radio broadcasts and audio logs), because you can actually know more about his personality that way. That said, I believe he could use some more wit in some of his lines.
Glad many like us are having fun with this game. I am very early into the game, so I don't have much to share as to my preferred killing tools! :D What I can say, though, is this: Sony Bend has only goodness to deliver from here on out. I believe Sony will fund their next game with the surprising success of Days Gone. I say surprising because of the enjoyment people are having with it considering the many negative reviews for it by critics!
I appreciate what Sony Bend has put out in Days Gone. I enjoyed the first hour I played of it. My only current gripe with it is the transition between cinematic and gameplay. This is just a minor gripe. You can blame God of War for this tiny complaint really.
I might receive flak for saying this, but my love for the Star Ocean series has dampened a little bit ever since that SO3 plot twist. Clarify this for me: Considering the plot of SO3, does this mean every living being in the entire SO universe is just a (SPOILER ALERT!)….

videogame character? Like the characters at least in SO4, SO1 and SO2 (yes that's the order based on the timeline) are nothing but pixels?
