There's a character in Tales of Berseria named Lloyd? Just to clarify--I was really referring to Lloyd Irving of Tales of Symphonia. I was saying I like his character design, although I haven't played ToS.
Capcom has been quite vocal about the incremental additions to the game. I must admit, however, that in terms of game modes, SFV is somewhat lacking. I am confident that they will deliver with great content as time progresses though.
Right now, I'm digging Survival. If only the difficulty spike towards the latter stages isn't too sudden.
I don't know the character designers who made Jude, Yuri and Lloyd, but I like them. I like Jude, Yuri and Lloyd's snappier outfits and overall character designs compared to Asbel and Sorey's rather "baggy" looks. So far, I'm liking ToB's character designs!
I said this just recently and I'll say it again -- power to JRPGS! Let's have a movement to bring JRPGs back the pedestal. More comments please!
I see that you really are trying your very best to lose some of your bubbles there, mate. Haha.
Anyway, on-topic: I am very stoked for this game and our local store's pre-order bonus includes a mug!!! Woohoo! I love practical items like that.
I noticed that when battling with 4-bar PC players (I'm a PS4 user), I still get lag. I am having a love-hate relationship with SFV right now, though in time I know the experience will get better. I'm a Tekken player, really, but SFV should tide me over until Tekken 7's console release.
I agree, but that is what's kinda wrong about gaming these days. If this gen was only in the mid to late 90s (up to early 2000s), people would flock SO5 and like games.
Anyway, I look forward to SO5, P5 and Exist Archive. Oh, but Exist Archive is not confirmed for a western release yet right?
Come on people. We want more JRPGs right? Let's post comments here so other gamers see this game in the "hot" zone. It's sad that we believe JRPGs are making a comeback, yet only a few people post comments in many JRPG news stories here at N4G...
Capcom needs to find a way so that the searching for opponent does not pause during between Survival matches.
What's more interesting is when they announce DOA5, they really wanted it to be a lot more serious than what it is now. I saw early gameplay vids back then showcasing the women with more realistic body proportions. I believe they retracted from that vision and went back to sex appeal.
No offense to the people who love this game, but DOA is becoming more of a costume party than an actual fighting game. If Tekken and Virtua Fighter allow you to customize the looks of your characters for free right off the bat, I believe DOA should follow suit.
We can consider that it's a perfect Street Fight V in Daily Star's opinion. Is it a perfect Street Fighter VI in their opinion? I surely think not.
Anyway, I can't wait to get this game later!
It's possible, but it has to compete with heavy-hitters like FFXV, Uncharted 4 and surprise new IP Horizon: Zero Dawn.
Based on the previews that I've seen so far, QB shows promise. That said, the "time" manipulation is something that I'm not quite too stoked about. It's just that it's been overused in past games is all.
I can already see it: people mainly using Akuma and spamming his fireball attack. If only his fireball attacks were pulled off just the way you unleash most unblockable attacks. I'm still not so thrilled about Akuma's addition in Tekken to be honest.
It shall be engraved upon your soul...
Divine Assault...
Nibelung Valesti!!!
Oh gosh. I just wish they make another VP game after this. It doesn't matter if it's Hrist's story this time or a reboot, I just want another VP soon!
I liked what I saw in that 40-minute gameplay video on YouTube. I am not a big fan of SRPGs, so its more action-oriented gameplay is more than welcome in my book. What intrigued me the most was the long and close range battle. That right there is kinda refreshing!
I hope the NA version comes out this year. SO5 yeah!
I want to buy R&C and this, but DS3 has stoked the fire of my anticipation for it that now I'm having a great dilemma.
Way to hype an event that ushers in an announcement. I would be even more surprised if SE throws in a little extra in the game's release that's not Collector's Ed as a way of thanks for having fans waited this long...
The forest level is very well done that to this day I still get lost in it. That right there says a lot about the level designer's ingenuity!
