If the new gameplay footage was supposed to be shown sometime last year, but because Sony (the publisher) didn't green light the showing for some reason, and now Tequila has complete IP right over Rime, they (Tequila) should release that supposed game trailer ASAP.
Maybe they are making some changes to the game because now Sony isn't funding it.
I heard Sony was going to lead a hiring event in the UK to acquire some of the Lionhead's laid off employees. I hope these geniuses get to receive a project from Sony which would work them to their potential. A brand new WRPG for Sony sounds nice!
I remember Rime was announced alongside with The Witness. Thing is, The Witness shared quite a handful of gameplay vids leading to its release. We can't say the same for Rime.
Make no mistake, I adored Rime when they revealed it some two years ago (along with The Witness). However, 2-3 years of no real gameplay footage is concerning.

It would be a Megaton if at E3 2016 Sony announces a BB2. However, I believe Miyazaki said in one of his interviews that after DS3 he will step away from dark games for a while. He did say, however, that he has another project in the works which may still be a PS4 exclusive just like BB.

I think ND already made a somewhat open world game in the Jak & Daxter series; Jak 2 is a perfect example.
Personally, I'd rather they make another game in the same vein as TLoU, where levels are bigger but the progression is still linear. I admire how ND makes truly captivating stories, and if storytelling takes a backseat when they go truly open world, then I'd rather they make linear games. I miss the more traditional overworld in past JRPGs. I know ToB will be similar to the recent titles, but I hope sometime in the future, we get a truly classic JRPG from the Tales of team.

This looks alright, but I expected more from the creator of Alone in the Dark. That said, good on PC and Xboxone to have another title in their 2016 library.
Eh, I played FF13 and forced myself to finish it. I'm not saying it's a bad game for everyone, but if the bulk of FF fans say it's not good, then it's mostly not good.

The unique thing that sets it apart from its inspiration (souls games) is the stance system. 4 stances? Sick!!! I wonder if there's any online play involved. I'm ok if there's none though. Day one!

I hope they announce the release date for the NA version soon.
On gameplay, I wish some areas will force you to choose only a couple of your party members. For example, a side-dungeon that's cramped; way narrower than your standard dungeons. This way, you do not have to rely on everyone's skills and that these skills may not always be available to you.
All these praises from Phil make me want to tell him, "Join the PS brand already!". I think he will be a good addition to the growing PlayStation brand!
