My thoughts exactly, my friend.
I want to reserve my RotTR wishlist sometime in the 4th quarter of 2016. That said, one can expect that all DLCs and quirks will be included in the disc.
On the side note: I strongly believe that the PS4 version of RotTR will yet again be lost in the presence of other great titles when it finally releases on Sony's console.
I agree with you guys on the convoluted equipment skill system. They can simplify this in their next Tales game. If the next tales game also features an open world map, they should include side activities like fishing amd hunting, so cooking may be further highlighted.
I want this game to be exposed more. I want people, especially the younger generation to appreciate JRPGs.
I wish Tales of Berseria draws from the strengths of ToZ. True open world with seamless transition between maps. ToB should also simplify the convoluted equipment/skill system of ToZ.
SRPG is the one genre that I really can't find myself playing. I tried with Suikoden and FF Tactics, but they didn't convert me. It's just that, to me, the pacing of SRPGs is quite slow; the battle that is.
Still, Valkyria Chronicles has that potential to make me play an SRPG.
Sega did say that they are intent on developing quality games again. Well, this could be the very first, and on a Playstation platform at that! What's next? Virtua Fighter 6? Go!!!
Someone from dualshockers said its battle system won't be strategy-based. I'm not a big fan of SRPGs, so if this new Valkyria game is more action-oriented, I'll be cool with it.
That said, the Valkyria Chronicles demo intrigued me. If this is SRPG still, this could be my very first strategy-based rpg.
Looks awesome! Is this a remake of the 1st game of sorts?
I'm good with Resident Evil 0 Remaster, thank you. RE6 didn't do it for me coming from an RE fan. The only campaign that I finished was Leon's. I got tired with Chris' and Jake's was out of the question.
How I wish Konami is in a position Capcom is now. At least then we'll see a proper remake of Silent Hill 1, and Silent Hills won't be cancelled.
Who's to say they won't be? And for the record, my argument is not whether these exclusive games will be good or not. I've decided in myself that I'm getting these games no matter what. And if they're launching around the same time as RotTR, then my money's on those exclusives.
The only way I'm gonna get this on the PS4 is if they lower the price to, say, 40 dollars with all the DLCs and whatnots included. And I'm not even getting it on day one at that.
To put things into perspective: If you have been a PS gamer since the late 90s, would you rather play a 3rd party game than an exclusive? Cuz, who's to say The Last Guardian or Horizon: Zero Dawn isn't coming out around the same time as RotTTR does?
Wait, so the new Valkyria: Azure game will be your standard JRPG, while the remastered one will still be an SRPG right?
Well SCIII was PS2 exclusive, so that's not too far-fetched of a prediction. If, however, they make another SC, make sure Talim and Setsuka are there. And I don't want Patroklos with Setsuka moves, please no!
I definitely want to see what Level-5 Games is cooking for the PS4. It has long been overdue you see. I thought they were going to announce it at this year's TGS, but it was absent.
I also want Sucker Punch to show what they have in store for the PS4. A God of War reboot announcement is not too unrealistic as well.
Blood!!!
Lol, just thought it sounded cool to end my post with that phrase. :D
Next year and beyond, the "4th Uncharted" "Horizon" will "Ratchet" into the stratosphere. You shall be in "No Man's Sky" just to feel your "2nd Gravity Rush". And don't ask "What Remains of Edith Finch?", for you only need to leave "Detroit" and travel to the "5th Star Ocean."
Having all this said, you will not be "Drawn to Death", for there's always "Life in PlayStation...
I downloaded the direct feed of the retail version and I like what I see. However, there is something about the graphics that seem a littlw unsolid. Like some walls look paper-y or styrofoam-y for me. I dunno...
If Capcom is bringing this series back, I'm sure Ni-Oh somehow made them to.
