It could be a sweet dream or a beautiful nightmare... :p
So if the gameplay wasn't all that, but the experience (meaning gameplay + everything else) was through the roof, shouldn't TLoU be considered a great game? Singling out gameplay as THE game is kinda dumb in my opinion.
Souls games aren't grindy. Far from it. You can beat the game without leveling up your character past 50.
I like it how Tecmo decided to go the souls route with this title, but giving it a more Japanese style. I know the Souls games are really Japanese games cloaked in Western setting, but this one begs to be more of that oriental culture. Hoping for a 2016 release, or early 2017.
We need to see more of this title, like gameplay, in order for us to have a better position at speculating greatness. That said, Inafune's pedigree is great, so I can see where the author is coming from.
As to whether this game will save anything Xbox related is anyone's guess.
Agreed. On amother note, CD might create a big expansion/dlc for RotTR to make up for the long wait for the PS4 version. I think this is the way to go.
Oh well 1 million units sold is still an achievement. However, I don't get why they opted for an MS timed exlusivity, for the love of me.
Fast forward into, say, winter 2016, I hope RotTR releases on the PS4 when the console isn't bombarded with great exclusives; otherwise, this game will be obscured pretty badly.
I want Konami to sell their console IPs, like SH and MGS, so we won't have our hearts broken by hearing pachinko news in the future.
I know that will never happen, but at least Kojima is making a PS4 game we can look forward to.
Selling a million units is a milestone. However, I believe those numbers are Xbox One and Xbox 360 combined. They should release the sold units data for Xbox One alone for future current gen comparisons sake.
My English is good, as far as I'm concerned. It's more of a purchasing issue to be honest. My credit card can only be used on the HK store. However, I can always buy a US PSN card.
The only thing that bums me about this game is its unavailability on Asian PSN Stores. The devs and Shuhei Yoshida have yet to reply to my tweets regarding this matter. Maybe they (the devs) don't have the resources for Asian translation?
I'm so happy that From Software is where it's at right now, in many ways thanks to Miyazaki. I am pretty sure the management at From Soft is happy they have someone as visionary as HM. Can't wait what they have in store for us moving forward!
Every time I see Level-5 in news stories, most especially concerning JRPGs like NNK, my mind always whispers "chunky quality." Like I know, when the game releases, it's going to ooze with quality, and reviews will always be that high.
Level-5 to me is like Naughty Dog and From Software's Miyazaki, in that you know they will always release top quality games.
I would like a different game from the collaboration between From Software and SCEJ. If it will have the souls template, I hope for a modern-day setting. I may be in the minority here, but I don't really like cyberpunk.
Or maybe something along the lines of Yokai Watch and the profession Layton series. I would love a console game though, so Dark Cloud I hope it is.
I am thinking it's Dark Cloud 3 since Dark Cloud is arguably more popular than White Knight Chronicles. That said, on the basis of popularity, WKC is also quite popular, so it could be either games.
Personally, I liked WKC, but I would have loved it more if they kept the battle system closer to what they have shown in the very first gameplay vid they released. I want to provide a link, but I'm at work so it's not gonna happen. The vid I am referring to, however, i...
Wait, it must be the Christmas hangover, but I didn't quite understand the details. Are tri-ace and spike going to make a cross game like Star Ocean x Valkyrie Profile x Exist Archive?
On the side note: I really look forward to VP3: Hrist
Primal is a game you guys must play. It's one of the most underrated games on the PS2.
Star Ocean 5 is giving me all the nostalgic feels today!
Bloodborne deserves all the achievements it has been getting. If there's anything not so good that I can say about BB it's the character variation. Like some characters could have used more liveliness in them like Siegmyer or Solaire from DS. Though the context of the whole game may have made the characters a little bit singular. That having as cheerful a character as Siegmyer may not fit the BB universe.
