Yeah, I guess. Something like that. If it take 4 or 5 years to develop one game because of the cloud helping with performance, then what a total waste of resources and time. Especially if it ends up selling like crap. Perhaps they focused so much in graphics and flashies and destruction that they forget to implement a story.
But if you do nothing with the tech now then in 10 years this is where it will still be. Companies have to sell the products that work now to make better in the future.
Not sure why your getting the downvotes. But I agree with you. Especially in the third and fourth year of PS5 games built from the ground up. I think Sony will have to balance how they do things if they intend to make them PS4 titles too. Maybe have a standard with new games coming 1080p 30fps for PS4, 4K 30fps for PS4 pro and 4K 60fps for PS5. Also VR should integrate well with PS5. PSVR can maybe go wireless via remote play or feature it's own computing functions versus the PS5 doing it...

Their games sell better on PS4 and it's owned by Sony. Maybe that's it? Maybe they want a safe comfortable home with Microsoft but can't resist the cash Sony gives them? Maybe it's individual people who have been wronged by one person or another within the gaming industry. But then why go out of their way to implement Skyrim on PSVR as well as Doom VFR. That much is very confusing.
This is a play on numbers. If your base is small, any bit of growth is going to look bigger in ration than if you're already the king. But nevertheless, I hope the trend continues.

Yeah, I mean potentially can take is one game. One AAA game with great story and gameplay from quality artistic directors with out the distraction of microtransactions or online heavy elements and people will jump in. It's sad that it take a whole next generation of gamers to do so with the exception of previous generation players who still cater to Halo, Gears and Forza. Crack down might be it. I have severe doubts though.
I really think this can be easily fixed if it's such a burden to just enable Keyboard and Mouse on these titles. Hell they can make them in house. Microsoft already does plus is working with Razor. It wouldn't take much for Sony to make there own. Plus I know I have a last one keyboard laying around. Bluetooth would obviously be ideal. I Just think this would be a no brainier easy solution. One that can be implemented quickly if demanded.

I actually agree with you on this. Let the console wars if you will handle themselves out in game. The next Multiplat game being Faction Wars. Whether it is a Battle Royal game, online shooter or MMO this where the competition needs to be had both competitively and cooperatively. I think Sony will allow you the option of your PS4 enabling and disabling Crossplay to a certain degree. And filters of course when enabled. This on top of Sony thought process with consumer protection with the use of child accounts managed by the parents.
Spider-Man is my favorite PS4 exclusive right next to God of War. I couldn't ask for a better year. I think the future of Marvel games is a fantastic idea provided they are done right. FW 6.00 came after Spider-Man I think. Anyways not sure how long it took. I stuck the disc in the machine and started doing something else for a while. Switched the TV over to a movie or something. When I was ready to sit down to Spider-Man there he was pirched on the side of a building waiting for me.
