This is why Sony is known for it's exclusives. This looks superb.
These are just legal disclaimers, people. Without them, it would be very hard to set up video sharing from a liability standpoint. No big deal.
This is an example of how underestimated next gen is. I think the sales figures will surprise many.
@jeeves86, firstly calm down. Holy crap. No one is trying to steal your lunch.
Secondly, these "giants" are on the verge of financial collapse, in many ways. Launching a console is a risk to the tune of billions. Sure, don't buy every machine but pick a winner and drop a few hundred bucks. It's an investment in your hobby.
If everyone was as "pragmatic" as you, there would -no exaggeration- be no consoles, no games, nothing. Us jer...
I don't know about you guys but I get just about all my gaming news from Business Insider.
Exactly, man. This kind of crap enrages me. Supposed gamers recommending we essentially starve out the next gen in order not to gamble a few hundred bucks. Listen to people like this and there will never be another console generation. If people like this got taken seriously by a lot of people then I guarantee many of the titles we want would be cancelled. This guy basically wants these new consoles, and the entire industry, to go the way of the Wii U.
I've said it before...
One major improvement in the triggers of the DS4, right away, is that while they have a better curvature, like the 360, they also have more width and comfort. They avoid that thing where the 360 triggers can kind of pinch your skin in the space between the trigger and the body opening of the controller. Not sure if they fixed this for xb1.
Soundshapes is one of my fav games of recent years. Prefer playing on Vita though. Headphones are a must, especially for the Beat School levels.
For sure...yet more nebulous bs from MS. All is well. Now even end users are being hushed by NDAs and legal bull.
Eventually we're going to lose everyone we know who buys this thing to under some MS legal umbrella.
"Hey Joe, how are you?"
"Due to an NDA I signed in order to own Xbox One, I can't answer that question at this time."
Leaking footage?! This guy isn't under NDA. No one give me some TOS argument either... Those "contracts" are inscrutable to even the finest legal minds on earth... And often don't actually hold legal weight, such as is the case with all waivers.
Another masterstroke of AWFUL pr MS. This guy was one of the only sources for positive pr for MS lately...and a lot of it. Now they turn it into this? Are they working for the competition? MS has lost the plot comple...
He's right, now apply this to just about all the crap MS tries to convince people of. That company has no respect for consumers and never has .
Do you mean you robbing them or them robbing you? Cause I think you're doing very well on this deal.
Be fair. This is a hard business to be in. They offer tons of value.
Does anyone know if the 30 day can be tacked onto a running membership? I know you normally can stack, but not sure with these trials.
But um...holy crap yeah $10? 'll take it. Sony really just gets it this cycle. Awesome!
Yes... But it also heavily affects future playability. Games get more taxing as the years wear on, xb1 has very little wiggle room.
Messy topic. So many factors involved. Most stores will volunteer their preorder numbers if you ask, the issue being supply. Xb1's are in shorter supply. That said, is it yield problems? Or are they keeping supplies tight to hide a lack of interest? Hard to say. The one thing that is PURE spin is the concept of holding back on preorder units to have more for line-waiters. To me this reads: hold back units to keep pre-orders looking sold out then dump the excess at launch and cross your ...
Look closely toward the center of the pad. There are clearly streaks of coarse scratches. As someone who's done a lot of woodworking, I can tell you exactly what that looks like: sandpaper accidents. When something has been damaged while assembling it, or you overlooked a rough surface and then have to sand an awkward part manually, if you're not extremely careful a surrounding area can get scuffed. THAT is exactly what this picture appears to show.
Seems to me that this isn't exactly an issue of wear per se, in the sense of erosion. If anything it would seem that there is a split in the rubberized coating where the groove is located. This would seem like either a defect in the unit or an example of intentional/unintentional abuse of the unit, in that when the stick has already reached it's physical maximum, this player seems to continue applying pressure on that ridge, as opposed to just holding the stick in place. Of course, my...
This rubbish about balance is disproven. By who? The devs who asked for this architecture. These machines aren't PCs. The CPUs play the role of APU, it's a completely different implementation of ram architecture. Number one requested next gen feature requested by devs? One large pool of unified ram. This is because it's the easiest to use and provides the best results. So two options then: DDR3 at 68gb/s peak or GDDR5 at 176 gb/s peak. Easy choice, except for price. GDDR5 is way ...
