Orson Scott Card is way overrated. His best book is Ender's Game, period. The other books in the series are meh.

Folklore was too emo for my taste. I found the parts where Ellen was whinning about how badly she's missing her mommie to be unbearable, and there were lots of those momments. Maybe it's me, but I find it hard to relate to some 14 year old girl crying like a bitch while crying to save the world the faeries or some bullshit like that.

For every Killzone 2 fan I'm guessing there are 2 or 3 that hated it for the controls, hence avoiding Killzone 3.
Another issue with Killzone 3 is balance and annoying classes. The shape shifting commandos are annoying, the invis snipers with assault rifles are also annoying. Thats a real turn off for some people who just want a straight up frag fest.
My PC was build to handle this game, can't wait.

That is quite a reach. If retailers die, and most the PC retailers are long dead by the way, Steam will still have to fend of competition from other digital download providers. They're not the only fish in the sea and there are more competitors everyday like this Amazon sale for example.
So you would pay more for a physical copy of Bad Company 2 instead of paying $5 for a digital download? I guess some people just like to pay full price for a box.
