Is there a party system in this game? I wouldn't mind having a companion like Fallout 3.

It's understandable that you feel that way. You kiddies with your lime green colored space marines and your bright cartoony fantasy MMOs. But back in the days when dinosaurs walked the earth, Doom 3's "blackness" was a big deal. You see back then FPS engines could not render realistic real time shadows from multiple light sources, with soft shadows in particular being a total bitch to render with that era's technology.

30 fps is under par if you're on the PC. But in the console world it's widely an accepted standard. The key here is average fps, with a consistent 30 fps there shouldn't be a problem unless everything around you is blowing up.
It's all hype anyways with Rage's mega textures the entire engine is slanted toward performance over texture quality. Carmack is just out there trying to sell the game and doing what his PR department told him.
With all due respect Carmack, we're not playing Quake here. Back in the days 60 fps is important because you need to rocket jump to a quad power up, spin around in mid air to pwn some clown with a nailgun, then go on a axe murdering rampage with your quad damage while dodging dozens of incoming rockets as everyone in the server is trying to gib you pieces. With all this happening in a span of less than 5seconds 60 fps is important.

Uncharted 3 is the only thing keeping my PS3 off ebay. Need to beat the rush and get the most out of my money before the PS4 is announced.
LOL the answer to this is obvious as hell. Near PC quality graphics and features for Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3. Throw in a superior console version of Mass Effect 3 and Skyrim to have MS and Sony sweating bullets.
Oh, one more thing. Free multiplayer.
If the console is hard to develop for or if it can't do 1080p native in all games with horse power to spare then they're screwed. Core gamers will just wait it out for MS and Sony's nextgen ...
Direct2Drive really needs to step up their offerings and site polish if they ever hope to compete with Steam. The community features and reviews are pathetic! On the bright side their sales tend to last the entire week vs Steam snooze and lose one day sales.
I would like to see more motherboards take advantage of Sandy Bridge and APUs in conjunction with discreet GPUs. Because of now with a 570 GTX in my comp my Sandy Bridge is basically sitting on it's ass doing nothing. The same applies for the APU. Do something with all this hightech crap please.
Hahaha if your games are crashing and freezing after hours of gaming then the problem should be bloody obvious. Look in the mirror then at your PC. The problem is between those two, or both.
Oh and anyone who haven't experienced console crash after hours of gaming should play more games. Try Fallout: Vegas on the PS3. You'll have your fill of crashes.
There's room at the table for both games me thinks. Sometimes I enjoy the spawn and die simplicity of a CoD frag fest while other times I like to fly a fully crewed helicopter into the water in Bad Company 2. They both satisfy my appetite for douchebagery in their own special ways.
You should be used to it by now? Crysis 2 is a muliplat game. I knew that coming in and lowered my expectations from day 1. In fact there's a game called Crysis Warhead that should've clued you in on whats to come. Crysis 2 is nothing more than a continuation of that design choice married with a bunch of baseless hype.

I would agree with most of those on your list except for Oblivion. I would swap that for Morrowind. As for Starcraft 2, I don't play that genre of RTS so no comment.
Always good to see Demon Souls make it in the top five of anyone's list too, that game simply does not get the credit it deserves. Easily this gen's most innovative console RPG.
I don't think you're giving Fallout 3 due credit. The first two Fallouts were great games, yes. But you can't make that kind of games anymore, the era for that kind of RPGs have come and gone.
