This is how it is in Fallout 3 and Vegas. I don't see them performing any better or sport superior armor variation.

Dedicated servers cost money that Activision can't afford. You see Activision is like a black hole. Once the money goes in, it doesn't come out.
Dedicated servers exists on the PC because the community is awesome. They're almost entirely ran by fans. If you look at the fan servers and EA servers for BC2 you'll realize that more that 90% of BC2 servers are actually ran by gamers.

They switched the Frostbite 2.0 engine with the Battlefield Heroes engine to see if anyone would notice.
LOL Crysis 2 is poorly optimized? Before the DX 11 and high res patches that game just blaze. If you can't run Crysis 2 DX 9 vanilla in ultra then your PC is dated.
Graphics are very dated with low res textures and low poly. Any gaming PC will tear this game apart, I'm calling triple digits fps on my machine.
This is another SoE game with empty servers. The community is virtually dead with zero new blood coming in, time to just pull the plug already.
The weird thing about PC games is how communities tend to get bigger over time, where as on the console they shrink. For example BC 2 community just got busy as hell with Steam's $5 sale. The servers were flooded today.
Stuff like that just doesn't happen on the console.
What about the 1080p gaming promise?
I wonder if Microsoft have the balls to implement emulation of their nextgen console in Windows 8. That would blow the doors off some very established players in the gaming market. Even Steam could be effected if the Live console community and PC community can interact as one. All they have to do is to force gamepad controls when entering a cross platform server and the playing field would be even.

A gaming PC have the advantage of being a totally badass PC that does everything. Using a console for anything other than gaming can you get sued by Sony.
The vast majority of console games are multiplat. Which is something the PC totally dominate in. If you line up the sheer number of core games that are PC exclusives vs the console exclusives, the PC would probably win by triple digits.
Consoles also have the most ignorant fanboys as illustrated by Blm Thug's post and many him.
Maybe they should drop the box name and go with something more badass. The entire box thing is unsexy and stupid.
