This sounds like bullshit. I have a 60" LX900, and thats about the best set you can get in that range from Sony. In 2010 it cost me a bank breaking 4K and the damn thing doesn't even do local dimming. Anyways if you actually have a TV this large you'll realize that 720p games looks like shit on sets of this size. The blurry textures that most gamers will never notice becomes freaking huge patches of gray.
Build my gaming PC when the PSN got owned by hackers and I barely touched Killzone 3 since then. PS3 games just look like crap now and I got hooked on buying games at rock bottom prices on Steam. There is no reason for me to pay the absurd console tax for inferior looking games while I can buy PC games that looks 3 times better for peanuts.
1600p, 32x AA @ 60 fps? Thats some serious pipe dream BS there. Maybe 3 to 4 years from now yeah, but not this year or the next. You can throw three 580 GTX in SLI inside one comp and you won't even get near that kind of performance.
