I saw CoD AW on stream on PS4 today, looked ok, though it was only the PvP part. I'm not a fan of the game, but for those interested, it DID look better than Ghosts.
One of my favourite games on PS3. I just find it sad that they found the money to bring it to PC, while VC2 and 3 has never been brought to PS3 from PSP.
I've been researching headsets for over a week before I bought mine. Turtle Beach were lacking most of the time, with mic quality, comfort, sounds, etc. SteelSeries H lacked in mic quality. AKG in... ok, they look hilarious. And ofcourse the Playstation dedicated headsets which... just had one of the worst microphones I've heard. What I did buy in the end is something I haven't heard about before I started researching, Tritton Pro+. The sound is just amazing, I could hear things t...
I'm completely ignoring this game if they don't add co-op. Single player hallway cutscene extravaganza just won't do it lately.
So people who won't buy DLC will be skipped out and will have to solo most of the content still?
I'm starting to think this is the only setting throughout the whole game, no other environments exist >.>
I'm still hoping for a "definitive edition" of Skyrim on new gen consoles. I can dream, right?
Kind of a shame that the weather patch won't come out until December. I was really hoping to play in winter climates already XD
Despite a lot of hate XIII got, I really loved it. The story and narrative were amazing, the development of characters throughout the story was really well written. The combat was fast paced, and many fights actually had some difficulty to them. The only complaint I could have is that it was going from point A to point B the whole time. Although whereas I loved XIII, I absolutely despised the sequels, which were just milking XIII, just like X-2 ruined X.
In media5 video, did the enemy hit the player there, but nothing happened, or did I just see things?
Mercury PvP is unlocked via one of the exotic weapon bounties. Requires 1 mote of light to enter, and you have to pay again after losing 3 games.
Creepy looking monsters =/= a scary game
It's nowhere near being an "event." It's just like control mode, but with half less people, and only one control point at a time.
You go to options, you select invite, AND THEN it send a PSN message. Which the other player has to go to PSN menu to read, and there is also a delay before a message actually appears there. Yeah... no, too much of a bother. If they did something like, select a player, invite, and the other player just goes to their own in-game menu and clicks yes, that would be perfect. Many games do it like that. So why Bungie chose to use the PSN system menu outside of their game, no idea.
For me so far it's a very solid FPS. But for something as social as it was advertised, it's far from it. The lack of text chat, matchmaking missing from events like dailies/weeklies or from story missions. Even something as creating a team is a pain, since you first need to send a PSN message to someone, and the other player has to go to the PSN messages (!) and join through there. There's no such thing as party making via in-game.
Does anyone still remember Defi...
Actually, they have a bigger library of exclusives, but those are all games that were supposed to be multiplatform which Microsoft bought exclusivity rights for. On the other hand, Sony instead of spending money to limit the fanbase of third party games, creates games with their first party studios. It's this gen that people finally noticed, one way or another, that Microsoft is playing cheap and dirty.
This gen is so awkward. I hate FPS and sports (including racing) genres, yet I'm playing Destiny and enjoying it. Meh, might as well try Driveclub, it's free, so yeah.
"The software maker calculates it can boost Minecraft sales by expanding the number of game users through Microsoft’s position in video games and computers"
That's kinda bull. Minecraft is already on all Microsoft platforms. What the takeover would actually mean, is limiting the number of sales by preventing Minecraft fans on Playstation platforms to play it, or any other games made by Mojang.
I have no idea why people complain. PS Plus is still mostly about free games for PS Vita and PS3 users. It's true that PS Plus is required for multi on PS4, but many good games, like FFXIV or F2P games like Warframe do not require it. Nothing else is behind a paywall. On the other hand 360 players had to get Gold as an obligatory subscriptions or they wouldn't be able to play any games via P2P connections. Yes, Xbox users were playing on P2P connections most of the time, not dedicated...
I was more shocked at Wii U being there. I didn't even know there are any games on that.
