Ooooooh, from one of the previews I've read, I thought it was completely permanent. I might think about it, but I'm still hesitant because of the smallish maps.
There was a 15 minutes gameplay video posted recently somewhere around, and the graphics were more reminescent of PS3 times. The battles themselves use very small maps for a rather archaic looking combat.
The main reason I'm not getting this though are the permanent deaths. I hate to lose characters I've spent hours knowing and training. And what if it will be necessary/useful later? Knowing myself, I'd just keep reloading the last save to not lose anyone, and it&...
Did they mention what type/genre this game is going to be?
It was my first playthrough's specialiazation. Basically, as long as you can upkeep Weaken on enemies to restore mana, you're good to go. Inferno was a good combo, with cheap, but strong, aoe attacks and best crowd control spell. Rift > Fire Mine > Firewall > next mob.
She matured I guess, which makes sense, since she should be in her 40s by now. I'm guessing that the reboot of Tomb Raider also had influence over the new design.
I've seen half of the titles mentioned there, and to be honest, they are quite lackluster. Most likely a material for official console/mobile visual novels. Most extreme would be doing a crazy turn based strategy like Disgaea, or some arcade 2D fighter for Japan only.
I'm a console only gamer though. I even played FFXIV on PS3/4, and bought a bluetooth keyboard just for it.
Bloodborne for sure. To be honest though, free Neverwinter Nights is the first reason I might want an Xbox One, so I guess it's a strong month for both consoles.
Why all the disagrees? The Witcher was originally a Polish book written by a Polish author. Plus me being Polish, yeah... you guys should also watch The Witcher's TV series, it's the best series Poland has ever done, though it predates the games quite a bit. It's still quite awesome.
Well, those should have been Polish accents, but I guess British would still be better than US English.
Why is this being released on iPhones and not PS4?! Life's not fair... wait, Square's not fair. It's a dangerous trend when devs and switching over more and more of their horsepower to mobile gaming, and that's what SE was doing in the recent years. That's also probably why the previous gen had only FFXIII and the abomination off-spring.
People always complain how Vita has no games, but in fact Vita is getting way more good games than PS4 now. I'm starting to regret getting a PS4 instead of Vita lately.
There's plenty of Japanese version streams on PS4's streams right now. Or at least yesterday when I last checked. The parts I watched where kinda slow, some small maps and solitary groups of random enemies. Dunno, maybe it gets better, but I just didn't stumble on the right stream.
I doubt the 360 games would be confirmed. Both Tomb Raider and Bioshock were already for free on PS+ a long, long time ago. They'd want to get at least one unique game to not be called Playstation's slower brother.
Oh, Twilight! In a plot twist, you're a vampire hunter, and hunt sparkling vampires and their girlfriends! Edward and Bella die in the first episode ofcourse.
Hunger Games could be nice, but they'd need to make an original story, like they did with The Walking Dead. You could be a new Tribute in a new setting, or Mocking Jay's minion later OR even someone from the Capitol.
Oi! I actually loved Bladestorm, but the hardware limitations were a pain, like enemy units suddenly appearing close to you. So yes, I'm planning on getting it as soon as it's out.
I played all Souls games but DS2, so I guess I will get it. Is it just me though, or does the remaster still look worse than the initial reveal of DS2? The shiny lightning and ambience just doesn't seem to be there still. It's more like, upping the resolution and framerate, instead of adding the removed features from 2013.

Picture quality, it looks identical outside of different contrast. If you do a really close close-up on the characters, the Xbox version has more jaggies, but I guess that's because of XOne's limits?
I really enjoyed the beta when it came out on PS3, so I preordered it. The full game was bad though, many false promises or features lacking from what was shown in trailers, not to mention it was still clearly a beta for a very long time. You COULDN'T even make a party for story content for months! Defiance also needed a lot beefier hardware than PS3/360 could provide, it was visible on every step of the game. Still, I wouldn't mind playing it on PS4 if it was F2P.
Wasn't there a Madden game or something? Or are those different sports?
