There are 2 streams on PS4 now, and, well, it's looking kinda meh. Something which I wouldn't even download a demo to try out.
Strange thing, I'd actually like to play that >.<
I doubt that will happen, it was on PS Plus for PS3 around a year ago.
Capcom is being so cruel now /sadpanda
I did hear somewhere there would be a free version available, with ad support.
"We are deeply, deeply sorry to say that due to licensing constraints, we can no longer allow access to Pandora for listeners located outside of the U.S., Australia and New Zealand."
Copy/pasted right out of their main page. It seems to be region locked nowadays.
There was this one time where they revealed it with extremely awesome looking wolves with very detailed fur. They DID later change those, and the fur is now more like, textures pasted onto models.
Note: I'm not complaining about downgrades or graphics or anything, and I never did it earlier. I'm just nitpicking that there was indeed a downgrade, whereas they say there are none.
I remember when Xbox One and PS4 were being released, and someone posted how they chose to buy Xbox One over PS4 only because they'd have CoD Ghost DLC one week earlier. I guess such people do exist.
Half Life 3 confirmed!
Ugh, it seems to be the same thing which happened with PS3. Some random dev spammed the store with mediocre looking avatars and themes there. Seems it's the same studio here.
Meanwhile PC and PS4 versions were nerfed to the lowest denominator, Xbox One. Usually it's the PS4 version being downgraded to Xbox One's specs, but PCs? PCs are not gaming consoles, that's for one. And devs should stop being cowards and openly acknowledge that there is power disparity between the two current gen consoles.
That pause thing, I did notice it early. I didn't really understood the idea between the delay between moving the stick and Arno starting to move, but ehh, ignorable.
Funny thing, I also loved the previous games and didn't complain about them. I wanted Unity so much, despite everyone warning me against getting another AC, yet I still protected it. Le sigh.
F2P or not, I'll take it. I absolutely loved the first DD, the combat was one in a kind awesome, the exploration was enjoyable, the art style was match on. There's also a possibility of cross play between platforms, since it's only Playstation and PCs. Just like with FF XIV and DC Universe.
Quite close to my own views. I definitely hated the omniscient guards most, or rather, the red coats. Stay in plain sight when they pass by, prepare to get attacked, because... well, Arno smells I guess? I couldn't get used to controls either, even after I've finished the story, I could still mix up the buttons.
What I'd add is the awful clutter. Open the map and try to find anything. Can't? Well, Paris apparently is made mostly of chests and collectibles. Ugh...
Uhm, why not games?
I'm watching a PS4 Twitch stream right now, it looks really good and fluid. The guy also has a mic, and seems he's having fun while playing it, so that's also encouraging. Definitely gonna give it a try.
PS. Despite being a closed beta, PS2 can be found normally on the list of streamed games on your PS4.
I saw someone on PS4 Twitch playing it yesterday. It kinda looked like Dead Island with climbing.
Out of those I'm thinking about getting:
Bloodborne
The Division
Metal Gear Solid V
The Witcher 3
I was also hyped for Rainbow Six: Siege, but I might pass it if it's only PvP.
Oh wow, people still make games for PSP.
It will probably have 50% sale sometime after all the episodes are out, just like with Telltale games.
