Not much to warrant another purchase. I bought SW4 not long ago, sold it after around a week or two. After doing the story there's not much to do to be honest. Chronicles mode, where open, was very repetitive, with small maps repeating over and over again. Also, the absolute lack of multiplayer. I couldn't find a single game unless through invites, if someone streaming the game accepted my invite before that is.
To describe the dread which is finding an online game i...
Weren't both Xbox One and PS4 already using Mantle and low CPU access?
From the title I thought they updated the graphics or something >.>
The keyword here is "had." After I noticed the game was just about repetitive grinding of bounties, or PvP which I hate, I just quit. Mostly thanks to the lack of matchmaking for stories, events and raids. I guess a lot of people did the same.
I saw several streams on PS4, straight from Japan. It's... not the best thing. Many PS3 jRPGs seem more fun, at times even look better. Quintet is heavily turn based, people were picking actions even for a minute or three, and then just watched the actions. Exploration is quite limited and meh. I'm going to pass on this game, despite my love for jRPGs.
That. Custom wallpaper would be absolutely lovely. Not to mention that the default theme looks better than the extra ones so far.
That's kinda bull. Here's a list of some of the issues I've encountered (and still do) myself:
- most annoying, R1 and R2 freerun buttons switched. in the beginning of the prologue it prompted me to press R1 and it worked, but after a while it changed to R2 on its own; now freerunning is a nuisance, since pressing R2 to do it feels so unnatural and is harder than just R1
- companion app, necessary to open nomad chests, doesn't work with PS4, keeps cras...
Weren't the grunts' AI running on cloud?
I wish they worked on the R1 - R2 freerun bug. I had R1 normally during prologue, and then out of nowhere it switched to R2. There's absolutely no option anywhere to change the controls, and playing with R2 is an absolute pain.
Anyone knows how to fix switched R1 and R2 buttons for freerun on PS4? When the prologue started it said press R1 to run, but after a brief moment it switched to R2, and now it's an absolute unnatural nuisance.
I wish I had such problems. Here's my short list:
- R1 and R2 suddenly decided to switch after the initial prologue, making freerunning with R2 a complete nuisance throughout THE WHOLE GAME!
- entering uPlay through the menu turns my PS4 into a loud jet engine (imagine a washing machine)
- it feels as if the game was running at 20fps, there are some places where it can completely bug out and get to 1-2fps
- camera is very wonky, in early levels tri...
Yeah, I regret buying Unity. So many glitches, and this time I'm actually one of the people who got lots of them. Straight from start Freerun button switched from R1 to R2 (sooooo annoying), can't find a place to switch it back now. While entering uPlay, PS4 becomes a loud jet engine, so I had to quickly turn it off. Initiates doesn't work, and since there are many chests requiring it working, yeah... The framerate is very unstable, definitely not rock solid 30fps. At times it fee...
I don't own an Xbox, and most people DON'T own both consoles. It's rather something obscure I rarely hear about. So no, the timed exclusivity for Tomb Raider is quite hurting. they are forcing time parity for releases of their own products and punishing those that don't accept it, while also punishing Playstation owners with timed deals. Thing is, those games were supposed to be multiplatform. I'm not even talking about Tomb Raider now, but games that were supposed to be r...
I'm not that keen on Microsoft's way of exclusivity concept. Sony mostly creates exclusive games through their own studios, those aren't games that would land on other platorms in the first place. Microsoft on the other hand goes to developers, finds a multiplatform game in develpment (eg. Titanfall), throws money and says "here's some money, Playstation owners are not to get this game."
I couldn't even beat normal. Though I'm on PS4, so kinda wrong console.
I'm gonna skip the hype train. I only enjoyed Uncharted 2, doubt I'll be getting U4 after the milked U3. Not to mention nothing is really known about that game so far, not even a single gameplay.
Ugh. I just quit Destiny after not being able to to beat Atheon 4 weeks in a row (or not being able to find a party), and a thought of paying for anything (even cut out DLC) never crossed my mind. Some people are just overly desperate I guess.
I'd actually like to see a Fallout game in an European setting for once.
Graphics were always a strong point of The Elder Scrolls games (when they come out), and I'd love a Skyrim remaster for current gen consoles. Thing is, the weakest point of TES (and Fallout) games were animations still stuck in year 2000. Even mods aren't able to fix that.
Don't care, still want to play it. Not even MAG had such massive battles.
