Why are there no shadows from characters? I do hope that they will work on stuff like lightning before PS4 release >.>
Awesome grumpy cat intro image XD
By definition Souls games were easier, because of shields. Luckily parrying in Bloodborne is a bit easier, but not everything can be parried.
Don't waste poison knives on snatchers. All you need is a charge attack (2 on subsequent NG+'s), and then get behind him while he power ups, do a quick back charge attack and finish it with a viscareal.
Bluetooth for bluetooth headphones! Sony has some really sweet bluetooth headphones for mobiles, like the MDR1RBT MK2 (I wanted to import them at first, but ehh, pricey).
MKV support with subs, so I could finally watch anime on TV!
It's for Italy only, because it was done by the Italian Sony branch over there. At least one of those branches is doing something, so I hope other branches *cough*SonyPoland*cough* take notes.
What's really fearsome is whether it will be released outside of Japan at all.
The thing with the higher contrast and crushed blacks is that Xbox is using its own sharpening filter for antialiasing or something like that. That's why PC and PS4 verions will look near identical, but Xbox will have higher contrast than intended by the developers.
It's meh at best. Static themes continuing the easy way of just linking two wallpapers. If it had a custom music theme, like the FFXIV theme, that would be awesome.
Does anyone know if it does have a custom music theme, like the free FFXIV theme? It was very awesome, and with one Bloodborne's theme would be truly epic.
I'm confused why that would be offensive...
Beard growth in real time?! This is ground breaking!! Now my life is complete, I can stare for days on the TV watching a growing beard!
After reading the review I was quite confused with the score. But "69", yeah, clickbait score.
I could never get into the Star Ocean games. Played one on PSX and another on PS3, and it just wasn't it. Valkyrie Profile games are one of my favourite series, even now. Resonance of Fate, ehh, it was missing that something. Don't get me wrong, the combat was nice and action, but just... not it.
Do those numbers include PS Plus and Gold versions, which were free?
In Souls games you could just cover behind the shield the entire game. I won't hide it, in DS1 I was using a heavy shield and a pike myself. Bloodborne was like a cold shower, and I finally had to learn how to properly dodge and parry.
It's so difficult to pick just one. Most of the bosses are very fun to fight, have unique designs and mechanic (stealth vs Old Hero for example). It's kind of easier with Bloodborne, since it's mostly dodge dodge dodge, and none of them were really inspirational. What I DID notice though, while recalling Demon's Souls, is that those boss fights were quite as epic as those in Shadow of the Colossus.
Dragon God - for the epic sizes
Gwyn - for the best mu...
That, or they switch focus to mobile market, since it requires less and is more profitable.
The graphical mods are nice and all, but my biggest gripe were always the animations being stuck in early 2000s. It seems modders aren't able to fix it even now. I'm still hoping for a complete remaster and additional content and mods for current gen consoles, since it was one of my favourite games on previous gen.
Combat is very confusing in the beginning. Think of it as a complete opposition of Bloodborne's controls. It did look stunning though, but I just didn't have the time to get deep into it, since I bought FF Type 0 for Type 0, not the demo, and a week after Bloodborne came.
