Yeah Dead rising was an amazing game!
I hate to pay just as much as the next guy but I hate trolls and cheaters and i am willing to pay to avoid them. PSN is a great service but since it is free you can never get rid of the idiots without banning the mac address which is a problem due the 2nd hand market.
The Panzer dragoon games were rock solid in my opinion.

Pepper i like mgs better (childhood fav so i have the nostalgia bias) but i agree with all of the points you made. If you want realism and true stealth action with a story based in reality get SC if you want a classic feeling game with big over the top nintendo style boss battles that are completely out of place and unrealistic go mgs. I will be getting both.

I am glad they delayed it; there is already too much stuff to play this year! Lair, crysis, prime 3, bioshock (pc version), halo 3, mass effect and heavenly sword are more than enough and those games are just the tip of the ice burg.
I personally think that killzone 2 has tons of room to grow. The first one had some AI issues and as such i think that killzone 2 will have a lot more to offer than killzone 1. MGS will be more of the same but that isnt a bad thing. MGS is also a story line that many of us have a vested interest in and so we want to see it to the end.

In my opinion I do have zero bias as to which system I prefer, because I don’t prefer either. I only care about the games. I will admit that I have more of a bias against some of the Sony fans on this site but it isn’t because of the choice of system. Why isnt this game out yet!!! The suspense is killing me. I hope it doesnt take any goofy story turns like mgs 2 did; a vampire named vamp is just to cheesy for me and what was the deal with otacon humpin his mom that was just plain not needed.
I think a game is art. Art is a word that shouldn't have boundaries like this as it goes against the idea of art. If dada is art than video games are to. If a guy can buy a shovel, take it to the museum, hang it on the wall and call it art (True story) then a video game can be art. If a guy can buy a sandwich, put it in a glass jar, let it rot and then put it in a museum (also a true story) and call it art then games are art.
The gta series was the highest selling series of the last gen. I think lots of people will care but i doubt anyone will ditch their ps3 to get a 360 over a 2 week delay.
