Mk it isnt a copy. In the first issue of EGM to showcase halo 2 had an interview with bungie that stated that 4 player co-op was a planned feature. Obviously 4 player co-op has been on there minds for years. Doom also had 4 player co-op and that was in 94.
This is a smart move by MS in my opinion. A premium is now 150 bucks cheaper than a 60 gig ps3! ouch The elite is 150 cheaper than the 80 gig plus it comes with a headset and an hdmi cable unlike the ps3.
It seems like bungie is making good on all the promises they made for halo 2, finally. It would be cool to have 4 people vs. a scarab!

4 player co-op was a listed feature for halo 2.
In my opinion gtaIV is the only game that has a chance of taking down halo 3. Anyone who knows about the industry knows that halo is a sales leviathan but gta has sold more in the past. Halo 3 has 4 million plus pre-orders but gta is multi-platform.

Kojima does not own the rights to metal gear solid. Konami owns them and as such his word is irrelevant to the word of the board at Konami. If Konami wants the game to come out on 360 it doesn’t matter what kojima says. I am not saying it IS coming out for the 360 i am just trying to be realistic about the situation.
The physics suck on this game. It doesn't feel real at all. I played it on my 360 and hated it. The cars float and the breaks are 100 times better than they should be. Just my 2 cents.

It just blows my mind how good game graphics are getting. I remember playing mario 3 in my buddies basement talking about how good games would look in 15 years. If i would have seen that screen shot that blackjack posted i would have had a heart attack. Simply amazing!
Yes it was on the msx first but it gained zero popularity until the nes version was released. I was unaware that kojima didn’t want his name attached to it. The story of metal gear solid started on the nes. Sorry to burst your bubble but many of the events talked about in MGS 1 happened in metal gear.
I agree with a lot of the points you make but I think the real problem with lair will be your arms getting tired. I have a roommate with bad wrist and even though he wants to play lair he can't and that barrier is a problem. I don’t think using the motion controls is a mistake but I think not giving you the option to not use them is. It limits the amount of people that can play it. I sit at a desk when I play games and I am not sure how I am going to play the game without slamming my hand...
