Even if the game has the protagonist go through a baptism, it's the protagonists situation, its not as if the developer made you go get baptized before you were allowed to purchase the game. And I agree whole heartedly with the author, if this is your problem with the game than why not have a problem with all the other things in games that would be considered sinful in real life. I don't care what the reason is, all I know is ever since I was 11 when someone sat me in front of a playstation with a game called "loaded" I believe, I was hooked on the playstation brand. Agreed, next gen the big leaps will be in lighting, AI, and fluid movements, facial animations. Graphics will def jump up too, but I dont see it being anywhere near the level of this gen where everyone went from sd to hd.
Oh and much larger draw distances as well, basically games will prob seem more lifelike but to get a huge jump in graphics, like people expect, the hardware would be far too expensive.

I cant get a group of friends together to go on epic quests through the world, invading some random players game or watching thier ghost die isnt really co op in my mind. Ive only just started playing demon souls so mabey im not doing it right.

It looks really fun, I wish devs would do more stuff like this, sometimes I feel like game makers take games too seriously and forget that you can make anything happen in a game, no matter how ridiculous.
IMO the entire uncharted series is born from the same idea as Tomb Raider in the first place, but someone took the time to refine it further and put in "micheal bay" looking set pieces, as inspired by COD4. As such the new tomb raider has no option but to be compared to it because of the similarities. I'm the same way man, I play to have fun, see the ending, and mabey play some multiplayer if its good enough. I don't care about trophies at all. Besides I wouldn't have anyone to brag about them to except people on websites and I don't care what they think.

I don't try for platinums. Going for every last collectible or replaying parts over and over to get it just right drives me insane with boredom, and the whole point of gaming is having fun, right?
Others like it and bully for them, I wish you all the luck in the world if that's what you like but I don't really give a shit about trophies/achievements. I play the game to have fun,see the ending, and that's about it. Possibly play the MP if its fun too.

you cant seriously sit here and say that Nintendo consoles aren't jam packed with shovelware including rehash after rehash of the same old crap, far worse than any other console maker.

The whole point of the DS4 controller is it combines the move and a regular controller with a small touchpad. The lightbar on the front and dual cameras on the console will act just like the move controller and ps eye. It supposedly has a more advanced gyroscope mechanism inside to provide more accurate movement tracking. So you will already be using both at the same time.
