To each their own I guess, I just like the latest and greatest, I suppose.
IMO there is usually a reason that technology and gameplay have evolved the way they have and when I go backwards those reasons seem to shine brighter than the sun to me.
There are a few games that are simply timeless tho. And props to those games but I'm trying to keep up with new things and greater technolgies rather than wallowing in nostalgia in the past.
I have noticed a lot if I go back to play a game I thought was awsome 10 years ago that its not so great now, I'm used to graphics and gameplay of newer titles and when you go backwards that far it always seems as if I get overwhelmed by noticing all the clunky gameplay or shoddy graphics or whatever. There always is something that Im like "oh yeah thats why i stopped playing this"
It always seems like nostalgia is better than going back to actually re-experi...

I totally care about facial expressions, in real life like 80% of communication is non verbal(ie facial expressions and body language) This type of graphical detail isnt just so things look pretty, there is a depth of emotion that you just cant get to without detailed and realistic facial espressions and proper body language.
I played that game way back on ps1 I think. It was pretty awsome, it was always one that I wondered why it didnt get a reboot.
Well, if there were any follow ups to this I never heard of them anyway.
This is the level of realism that I've been hoping for since I played duke nukem and doom when I was 13 yrs old. Can't wait for next gen stuff so I can have some games that look like this!
I understand what you mean by consoles holding back the pc world a little. But in all honesty its a necessary evil. Some people dont have the money or the know how to invest in a gaming rig, so the right choice for them is a console since its all plug and play. The develpers increase their fanbases and even tho develpment cycles may be stunted a little by consoles, the increased revenues of those fanbases make better games in the future for all platforms. So just be patient young skywalker...

Microtranactions have no place in full retail games. They are best implimented in FTP games or at least a game with a very low buy in cost(like 10 or 20 bucks tops). And if they have the gay pay to unlock everything like BF3 I would lose a lot of respect for R*.

nope ps3, dude you should play heavy rain, its the same type of gameplay, sort of. The graphics in that were pretty close to photorealism as well.

they changed something in the terms of service agreement which means the update requires a user action(agreeing to terms of service) so it can't automatically do it for you until you say yes.
If they hadnt changed any part of the user agreement your plus account should have just downloaded and installed by itself at whatever time you have specified in your settings.

Because some people still live in areas that dont have the most reliable internet, or what if you cant get broadband at all, some people near where I live cant even get cable because they live too far out in the boonies.
How would you feel if you came home unwrapped you new game console, ready to have some quality gamimg time and it wouldnt let you play a single player game because you dont have an internet connetion?
