It's yet another sloppy lackluster COD, thats the issue!

4 was ok, but a letdown in so many respects, but just from the way this one looks in screenshots has me excited to play and R* rarely disappoints for me so my expectations are pretty high already. I hope I am blown away because it looks like some big hitters are coming soon and next gen hopefully. So if they think it can hold a candle to next gen I want in for sure.

look at older GTA titles, they were open world and you would die when you fell in the water. But the story never took you to need to go in the water so it wasnt a big deal.
So as long as it doesnt seem like it impedes the story I'm fine with the no swimming, however for a tomb raider game it seems weird, there was almost always a part where you had to swim in all the older ones.

Thats kind of what Ive been hoping since its still in the beta stage. I've been playing since the closed beta and they have added a lot already. I cant wait until its a finished product.

I think that's the point of the article. People were looking at it expecting a clone of smash bros and it wasnt. Since it didnt play like they expected no one liked it. Had it been a shameless ripoff, it may have taken some flak for it but probabley would have sold better.
This game is awsome!
But, I really wish the buildings would have destruction and the like. It takes away from it a lot to see all this supposed "destruction" rain down from the sky and then everything that's under the explosion area remains intact.
Im on it already, can I have some extra goodies too? That game is fun and rediculously complicated when it comes to the store and what skills you have to level to be able to use certain things.
But the quote says it all, they were targeting making the game for full home consoles not another handheld. That's why not vita version. Im sure if it seems like there would be enough people buying it that would be the next step logically tho.
whatever, None of those reasons scream "see the future" to me. Although next gen hardware does.
Using the fact that new games are coming for ps3 is nothing because when ps3 came out there were still new ps2 games coming out for almost a year or two.
Gakai is not the future of playsation, It will help and could provide a new direction over just using consoles to game with.

Sounds like this guy wants an open world God of war where kratos smiles and cries alot. How can you downplay kratos's rage, thats like 3/4 of what makes it great. And any other game thats changes dramaticaly from the original formula too much just begs for a huge backlash from the community. The same ol GOW with better mechanics/graphics sounds great to me. Why screw up a formula that works so good?
yes but couple that "teaser" with the line "see the future" that sure as hell doesnt say anything like the points of this article say. You dont hype people up for some big announcent of seeing the future for PS2 HD remakes or cross game chat. When I read "see the future" that tells me they are revealing something that will really wow people and show what direction the company will be moving in the future. And to top it off they are having all thier big invest...
True, "time waster" could be said of anything that eats up your day when you have nothing to do, however the games on the mobile platforms that are considered "time waster games" are usually no better quality than stupid flash games you can play for free on a million different websites.
I agree with Scottis above because until those mobile games can have the same level of mechanics/graphics/story lines, they will never over come the console/pc gaming marke...

All of these speculations are rediculous, I realize this is a joke article but theres no way they would hype up anything on this list like they have. I think they are trying to beat MS to the punch this round with some real next gen equiptment.

I swear I just saw an article on n4g like 2 days ago saying that sony just posted their first profit in like two or three years and thier stock rose like 60% since the same time last year.
