DLC can be good or bad depending on how its used. If it unlocks content on the disc you've already purchased than it seems like the dev is just trying to gouge you for more money, if you get a day one patch it looks like a rushed development process and they sold you an unfinshed product, games like COD make it feel like your basically buying a 120 dollar game for 60 bucks and getting charged for the rest later.

Except for jetpack joyride which I believe is realtively new, both killzone multiplayer and DC universe online have been free to play for a while now, dc universe especially I think its been like a year or two.
Dc universe is a lot of fun and i recommend it. You dont have to pay for the expansions for it to feel like a full game, but I would like to get to them one day.

I usuallly purchase about 50 of what ever suit/weapon/upgrade at a time to use on a peticular setup, all done with in game currency, no real money, there are some things you can get with real money too but until the game is finished and I can see a real final product I will not purchase any thing with real money. yeah that rain shot was great looking, there were a few of them I had to look twice at but the rain shot pulls it off the best.
even if they do put it on ps3 it wont look this good, this is on a high end pc and that's why the graphics look so much better than gt5.(I particularly enjoy the details of the track and backgrounds, something gt5 severly lacks IMO) If this goes console i would definitly not expect it to look this good. Actually when it came out it was relitively cheap for what it was. Other bluray players were about a thousand dollars at the time. Ps3 could do blu ray and play next gen games for significantly less. Unfortunatly for sony blu ray came down in price quickly however still had to sell existing launch models for the origonal cost so as not to lose out too bad on them.
Not to mention the console itself was like a grand when all the others at the time were 100 to 200 bucks. I only knew one kid who even thought his parents would buy one.
