Actually rezzah to tell you the truth im not too hyed about this particular game. Not because it looks bad or anything there are just other games im hyped about (like deus ex) I find it interesting and ill probably play it.

Dude it WAS kind of broke the story was NOT the strongest element of the past dmc games combat was.
I mean lets be completely Honest for a second there are 4 devil cry games currently 2 of them were not the greatest
Most people dont like dmc 2 and dmc 4 was pretty garbage compared to the third and first... So what is that? 50percent half of the games in this series are truly masterpieces the other two while not necessarily bad were not great by a long shot...

What the hell is the big deal its a reboot?
Reboot means things change the story can be altered.
Besides its not like they ever really talked much about his mother Eva to begin with. All you ever really know about her was her name, she was human, she died and trish looks alot like her. They are just trying to make a coherent story for once.

I liked this trailer, people complained a few moths ago about pretty much everything from the last trailer which clearly stated at the begining "work in progress". This one also has that same message yet people are still finding little things to complain about. This build is probably beta now but it will be interesting to see at the gamescon conference when its playable.
Yeah back in june there was another trailer with dante activating his devil trigger and his hair turning white, so everyone is asuming that at some point it becomes permanent.
Well his hair does turn white in the game...... So..... Yeah

I agree with you completely. But you have to remember that the original dmc was made a completely different person than the rest. And since he was never allowed to work on another im sure the series has gone in a very different direction than was originally intended.
Hopefully someday capcom will contract platinum games to make a new devil may cry. That would be something.

your absolutely right Rockman it IS much cheaper than having to pay 5 bucks per new character. I agree that it seems like a good idea all around. New Stages,new characters, a rebalancing of gameplay.
But for some reason people didnt want any characters as DLC as they feel as though ALL the characters should have been included in the first place.So because people feel as though "Oh well Mvc2 had more characters Mvc3 should as well." They should NEVER add anymore char...
Dude he has NOT always had rebellion. Rebellion was added in DMC2. In DMC1 dante starts out with force edge.
And it has not been confirmed that Dantes guns will overheat in DMC, that was a rumor.
And the story of DMC got convoluted a great deal because they refused to move the story past the second game. They didnt even explain Neros full relationship to Dante. The cannon of DMC is far from perfect and a reeboot should serve it well.

Is it milking? You aren't required to buy it. If you already have mvc3 you don't have to buy it. Its a choice to me, its alot like dlc or add ons the option is there but if you feel that its not worth your money then ignore (like I did all the fallout dlc)
But really though from the way it sounds to me ultimate may be worth the money. I think that if capcom had released this maybe a year after the first alot of people may not feel the way they do now

Exactly! Thing is capcom has been doing this for years with SF2, SF2 TURBO, SF2 GOLD, ect.
Maybe I'm just old that I actually remember that lol. But to me it doesn't feel like a ripoff 12 new characters new stages new game modes tweaked gameplay. I'm not seeing how that's any more of a ripoff than madden or FIFA. I guess people are just going to always find something to complain about.
