Im actually looking forward to this one. I loved killer 7 and no more heros so I will be giving this one a shot as well.
Bayonetta isnt nearly as bad on the ps3 as some people claim, especially after the patch that lets you install it to the HD.
Android isnt quite better than the iPhone yet, I would say its about on par with it. Very soon however IT WILL LEAVE APPLE IN THE DUST. Its just going to happen people.
But I think the SONY android merger is great. However SONY needs to really re-evaluate its Ericson division, they just make really sub par phones(Yeah X10 Im looking at you!).
Im really hoping that the PSP2 is a tablet instead of a phone which would make more sense.

The thing that made Devil May Cry the thing it is, was awesome gameplay. There was no other game at the time that had the same type of action.
I still remember the first time I played DMC at my gamestop it was awesome. It was more than Dante. Dont get me wrong, Dante is really cool and all, but the excellent gameplay mechanics did more for the game than he did.

All the climbing to me was very similar to uncharted 2. But I can see the comparison in some aspects of the graphics and the overall visual style of both games.
the ONLY thing Im worried about i s the combat. I hope its a lot deeper than just light and heavy attacks. Other than that I was pretty impressed

and I personally hated nero as well he was whiny and I distinctly remember when capcom first announced that dante wasn't the main character of dmc4 I thought why would I wasn't to play admc without dante being the main character.
But what about the most recent James Bond movies? Daniel craig is pretty much nothing like any of the previous Bonds yet he is arguably one of the best actors that have played bond. And as a result more people who normally wouldn't have even watched a 007 movies are now fans
I love the DMC probably more than anyone, it was the entire reason I bought a ps2. But as they said the game is a reboot so they can change pretty much anything in the story.
So yes in the previous games dante may have had silver hair at birth but they may decide to change that. What's wrong with that as long as they explain it? Also what if dantes hair is silver now and he's just died it black because he doesn't wan't to accept who he is?

I agree with most of what your saying. It would be great if this was a true sequel (though honestly id be happy with just a continuation of the already existing series) My first houghts on this trailer when I first saw it was dante during his tony red grave days.
But I think the majority of people would agree this variation of dante looks and moves somewhat feminine. Also many are worried that this may have absolutely nothing to do with the previous DMC games which would suck...
Obviously the person writing this article is not a die hard dmc fan. When you can't even recognize the main protagonist from your favorite game theres a problem and overall the entire trailer looks nothing like a dmc game. I'm all for revamping but this is just non sense.
But I have the feeling in my gut well be seeing a redesigned less emo dante in the very near future.
As a charcter... bayonetta at least to me is a bit too sexual (yes there is a such thing) almost to the point of corniness. I think Kimya needs to work on her for the sequel.
