Great news! The only way is up for the Vita. It has been so criticised but not by anyone who has one. The Vita will go from strength to strength along with the PS4.

The demand really is huge. Sony have earmarked 500k just for the UK before Christmas and still many people can only get PS4 in the new year now.

Well done GG. One of the most underrated developers around. They give 1,000% and are truly committed. They are also very talented so you can't ask for more than that.
They use some great actors for the voices, just wish they spend a bit more on the story and characters like Uncharted - but that is just knit picking.

I really do not understand why Microsoft don't collaborate with Samsung or another hardware company and produce a stella hand held. They would of made a mint if they had done so when the 360 was so popular. They have missed the boat now.

If you say something for long enough it tends to stick. When I bought the PS3 all I heard from 360 owners was that I had no games.
After Uncharted, MGS4, Infamous, LBP, Wipeout, Resistance, Killzone, Motorstorm, etc., etc. they were still saying the same thing.
The Vita has some massive games now. The library is fantastic for a hand held. Better than when I had the PSP. And it will only get better with so many new games coming out on PS4 & Vita.

Nintendo are getting what they deserve - a good smacking. They sold millions with the wii but never invested any money back into games. Mario, Zelda, Mario goes shopping, Mario walks the dog, etc. Talk about milking.

For many different reasons the PS4 is THE HOT item every kid and a lot of adults want right now. It has taken off globally in a massive way. You cannot predict that.

I think when the dust settles in a few weeks or so the difference in sales will be very noticeable. The PS4 in the UK will not meet demand this year. And the same for the US.

You say "may not be as powerful". It is definitely NOT as powerful. Just a fact. And people would not keep going on about it if Microsoft stopped trying to imply the XB1 is as powerful as the PS4.
We all know PS4 is more powerful and all hope that any game, even multi-platform, make full use of that power. Only heavy-handed tactics from Microsoft and weak-minded developers/publishers could result in weak parity.

Of course the 360 sold more in total in the US and UK. That's why I said PS3 had actually outsold the 360 for the week listed.

PS3 sold more than 360 in the UK. That does not happen often. And the PSVita sold more than the WiiU in the UK.

Can't speak for the wiiu. To be honest I still do not really know what the wiiu is. Is it a hand held? Is it a console? Is it 2 pieces of hardware - 1 console & 1 hand held?
But at least people know that the Vita is a much prettier PSP with Super-oled and dual thumb-sticks. The graphics and the tightness of the thumb sticks impressed me the most about the hardware.
Nintendo just hoped they would milk more out of the wii name and everyone would automat...
