Get yourself a Vita - honestly. I have both but since getting the Vita I have not turned on my PSP.
The PS1 and PSP games look even better! Not good if you only have UMDs and are not on PS+.

The potential is huge. Just think of all the PS1/PS2/PSP/Vita/PS3 titles available. For tablets and smartphones PS1, PSP and Vita games would be ideal.
You really need a controller for PS2 and PS3 games. If you could hook a DS4 or DS3 to a tablet then even better.

The scary thing is these figures would be even higher if more stock was available. It is easy to walk into a store and get a XB1 in the UK but PS4 is always sold out.

Amen to that. Burnout Paradise was and is the greatest fun I have ever had in a racing game.
The damage control is the best I have ever seen and the road Rages and Stunts were amazing features.
What made them a great studio? They gave so much to that game. They delivered free updates and patches and even added Day/Night racing for free. At the time what they were doing in supporting that game was a revolution.

This is the guy who said XB1 was going to wipe the floor with the PS4 just after the XB1 reveal.
Then when pre-orders were going Sony's way he changed his tune. I actually think PS4 will have an even greater advantage in sales.
XB1 needs a system seller like Titanfall or Halo or whatever. The PS4 IS a system seller. There is the difference. But if you are lucky enough to own a new XB1 you will not care one jot.
The amazing thing about the UK charts is the XB1 could still be bought in stores whereas the PS4 was sold out almost everywhere.
I believe the initial Microsoft figures for the UK are sold to the retailer whereas the PS4 figures seem to be be actual units sold.
The lead will only get bigger once more supplies of PS4 get here. Great that Microsoft and Sony are selling so well...

PS4 demand is just so high. Especially here in the UK.
Top retailers Amazon and ShopTo are out of PS4s (apart from really high priced options) but the XB1 is in stock on most bundles.
They cannot make the PS4 fast enough. Bottom line - if you want a XB1 you will easily find one in stores and online. If you want a PS4 get in there quick when stocks are replenished or wait in line...

If it means current games will run smoother then great news.
Getting drivers that are more efficient and increase performance are welcome. Seems a bit soon for such an increase. This can only mean the system was slightly rushed out ahead of time.
Here's hoping all new consoles perform to their maximum as soon as possible.
Sony expected Driveclub to come out for PS4 launch. If they knew DC was going to be 6 months later then they surely would of put GT6 on the PS4. It is crazy not to have an exclusive racer for PS4.
Look at all the Sony adverts for the PS4. They are full of Drive Club and Watch Dogs - both games Sony expected would release at launch!
The XB1 is selling well - better than I expected. But Microsoft's sales figures are to the retailer not the customer whereas the PS4 is pretty much sold out in the UK.
In the next 3 months or so we may see much lower figures from MS. Why is a retailer going to take more stock when they have consoles still sitting on their shelves?

As much as I can't see the attraction for a XB1 I hope all new owners get 100% working models and have the greatest time.

We have just entered a parallel universe where Sony consoles sell more than Microsoft's in the UK and US.
This is a massive thing here in the UK. To sell more in less time speaks volumes for the demand for PS4. Sony said they were throwing 500,000 at the UK market before Christmas and they delivered.

First lets congratulate both Sony and Microsoft for an amazing end to the year. I am loving my PS4 and I bet everyone who has a XB1 is loving theirs too. 1) Only 2-3 million PS4s out there
2) Up against COD
3) Up against BF4
Glad GG decided to back Sony with developing a launch title. They deserve all the success they get considering they try their very best with each game.

Can't believe we are still at this one. Yes, PS4 is more powerful - we all know that. Yes, Sony has better exclusives and their games will look amazing.
But XB1 will be just as amazing for those who buy it. I am still getting to grips with my PS4 and it really is a major step up to me. I just love it.

Buy a Vita TV hook up to any TV via HDMI and connect to your router with a cable for super fast streaming of PS3 games. And also connect back home to your PS4 for remote play of PS4 games.
This is an amazing "take your games anywhere" solution. Just pop your Vita TV and controller in a small bag and voila.
