Sony's sold 70 mil psps, 100 mil ps1's, 150 mil+ ps2's(still selling), 60 mil ps3's and will probably end up close to 80-90 million.

Agreed. Before Ninty`s conference I was thinking to myself ``Yea Ninty`s gonna own e3 for sure``. Then their conference happened and it was almost as bad as Microsofts.
Last Ninty console I owned was a Gamecube, and it was only for a few months till I got rid of it. I was hoping Ninty would blow me away to get me back on board but this conference did the opposite.

If you're talking about who had the best press conference of the big 3, I'd say Sony. All were pretty underwhelming to be honest.
Games wise, Ubisoft came first with Sony second. Watch Dogs looked promising as hell. The Last of Us gameplay looks awesome. Microsoft and Nintendo didn't really show any new core IP's for their main systems.

MS and Sony are obviously gearing up for next-gen after their underwhelming e3 conferences.
The lack of announcements from guerrilla games and sucker punch probably suggests that the games they're working on won't be ready for ps3 till 2013 holiday, or PS4's launch.
This gen is coming to a close and we can't really expect much more new ips to release for ps3.

Conference wasn't great. Pretty decent yet underwhelming. Still better than MS's. Looks like Ninty will have the best show by default.
Last of Us looked awesome and ended with a bang. Wonderbook was a waste of time. The lack of Vita announcements was a bit shocking but leads me to believe Sony's saving some news for TGS.

I usually hate all things Microsoft(except for Windows), but this is actually a brilliant idea. Yes it'll cost more in the long run, but upfront it looks really cheap. This will get alot of uninformed and impulse buyers, most of which will be noobs and parents.

Sony doesn't have to launch before the nextbox, it just shouldn't launch a year or so after.
As long as Sony's within a month or 2 they should be good. The ps3 almost wiped off a 10 million one year lead with a crazy launch price.
Imagine the damage they will do with a good priced system launching at the same time. Launching with Uncharted 4 would just be insane..

The thing that might hold them back from having a ton of power is the tablet controller.
