Cool idea, but please get rid of those balls on top of the controller. They just look weird.
If Sony's learned anything from this gen, they will release shortly after the next xbox. Releasing 2-4 months within the xbox launch would give people a shorter wait time.
I think it's safe to say the next PS and MS consoles will be similar in power and features, so a difference in specs won't be a huge factor.
What will be interesting to see is what new controls Sony and MS will come out with if any, to counter the Wii U's gamepad.

Nintendo makes their hardware to suit their style, not third parties. They live and die by it. I doubt they'll ever change that.
All these 3rd party devs need to realize Nintendo will do whatever they need to do to survive. Ninty made billions off outdated hardware with the Wii. Why would they change that strategy?

The PS3 was "dying" 7 years ago too. Now it's tied with the 360.
I'm sure sales will pick up(especially in Japan) once more software comes out and a price cut(system and memory cards)
I don't know why people keep on doubting Sony. Sony has shown they can handle adversity, competition, their own mistakes, market shifts etc and still find a way to succeed.

Anyways, good news for Sony. They managed to get through the "slow start" of the PS3 and now they are in a good position.
The VITA is going through it's own slow start, but we all know Sony can and will get past it.

Hope it lives up to expectations. I thought GTA 4 was pretty good but felt like they could do better.
Give the game time, it should have some legs.
I don't think anyone was expecting this to sell like God of War 3, or Uncharted.
Hopefully it'll do 1 million lifetime, but I think 500 thousand is realistic. I doubt this game cost Sony much money to create anyways, so there should be a sequel.
