Didn't read the article, but in answer to the title question, it's pretty easy to play a game incorrectly.
Playing Oblivion or a Fallout game, skipping all the dialogue, and then complaining it had a mediocre story, is the wrong way to play a game.
*annoyed as hell that I have a friend like that (No, the games story isn't the problem, your add and unwillingness to sit and LISTEN to the story is the problem)*
Lol, cod fanboys insecure? No one even MENTIONED Black Ops. Sounds like you're the one that's insecure, and extremely defensive over something that hasn't even been mentioned.
People are complaining about the issue, because it's a valid issue to complain about. A decision like the one EA made tells the whole world that "Hey, you're right. Gaming is inferior to television and cinema. It's just an inferior form of entertainment, and it's jus...
The quality of the game is not the issue here.
The issue, is that the lack of balls these companies keep showing is holding back gaming from being considered EQUAL to things like movies and television.
What some of you idiots don't seem to get, is that most of us could give a sh*t about the game itself. The majority of people backing this game, don't really care how good or bad it is, they just want to finally see someone take a f*cking stand against...
And add a multiplayer racing mode. None of that team deathmatch shit.
Same goes to the MoH fanboy losers who keep posting in Black Ops articles.
Not to mention, they're cheap (for both parties).
Dragon Quest 8 HD
Final Fantasy 10 & 12 HD
Ratchet & Clank (all of the ps2 games) HD
Killzone 1 HD
1. Are the shipping fees very high because they are imports?
2. Will Amazon.com work?
I don't trust Ebay. Does Amazon do imports? And isn't there really high shipping fees on imports?
Nothing can live up to the hype N4G creates.
If I had been around N4G for my favorite game this gen, and they had been overhyping it like they overhype games nowadays, I would have been disappointed and underwhelmed by it.
Hype is poisonous for games (in my opinion) and only creates expectations that will NEVER be able to be lived up to.
Please don't overhype this one, N4G.
Every time you get a game that looks interesting in your crosshairs, you pretty much proclaim it will be the best thing ever and it will provide nothing but pure bliss and enjoyment and will be so good, that it changes my life. Obviously nothing ever can live up to the expectations you create, so I end up being underwhelmed by almost everything you overhype.
I f*cking loved inFamous 1, and still love it to this day mo...
Because I still find it very fun, and unlike other mindless CoD droids, I buy many other games as well.
I'm not going to not buy a game just because other people don't like it. I'm going to buy the used edition so I'm not going to support Activision, but when it comes to the opinion of the masses of n4g, I really don't give a sh*t.
I'd rather have multiplayer than 1-2 hours of extra sp gameplay that I'm only going to play once.
"Multiplayer should be a bonus not a selling point."
For you maybe, but for some, multiplayer is just as important as single player. I love both SP and MP, and I don't discriminate against either mode or think that one is superior to the other.
If a game that looks interesting is announced that is mp only is announced, I'm excited. If a game that looks interesting is announced that is sp only, I'm still excited.
*shrug...
Very true. I wish the majority of the online shooter market would just abandon the idea of SP, since most of them have never had good sp campaigns.
Look at Bad Company 1/2 and every Call of Duty game (except for WaW, since it had campaign co-op, which was nice): no one really cares about the campaign in those games, so why don't they just take the Warhawk route and stick to what they know best to further improve upon the multiplayer?
Why would a disc release be risky? Three full games of one of the most popular franchises in history, all on one blu-ray disc in glorious HD with trophies. Doesn't sound very risky to me, seeing as how it would come with more content than the majority of remastered trilogies announced so far (the only one that has 3 games so far is The Sly Collection).
A veteran of a DS3 will always beat out a veteran of MOVE though. Move still may be fun to use for FPS, but it's not going to make you a better player unless you really suck with the DS3, and yeah, I know that it's not an issue of accuracy or responsiveness.
I am going to buy PS Move one day (probably when KZ3 comes out, just to try it out), but the day that I replace my DS3 with PS Move (and use it as my primary controller), is the day I no longer consider myself to...
Elena is more "cute" than sexy. Chloe is sexy.
I for one am really glad that they're cashing it in with the last gen. I was only a casual gamer last gen, and didn't experience much. I played a couple of great games like Shadow of the Colossus and Sly Cooper, but when the ps2 gen was over, I had only played around 15 games, so being able to experience what is considered by many to be the best generation of gaming, with upgraded visuals, is awesome to me, seeing as how there is a LOT of crap these days.
I'm pretty hyped for it.
