As much as I LOVE cod4, cod2 will always be my favorite.
It was the first online game I ever played, and I had a blast playing it
Day one download.
The f*ck are you talking about? Killzone 2 received stellar awards.
I'd still like the option to try.
Some of us actually might get used to and you know, ADAPT. Plus, I'm sure there is some sort of tech they could implement into the controller that reduces the way the controller reacts to shakiness (hell, they have it for video cameras and digital cameras and whatnot not sure if would be the same thing, but I don't doubt that they couldn't do it, this IS an age of pretty much "do anything" technology).
Singularity was a very solid game, just nothing great. Good enough to play through the campaign once, but not good enough to warrant a purchase (used or new). Singularity was more of a time waster than anything else.
I know right? There are tons of other modern FPS games in which you can grab people with a whip, yank them to you, kick them in the face, and shoot them in mid air having already kicked them. Totally generic.

Odd box art, but whatever, I'm not buying the game for the box art.
I'm not sure where I stand on this.
On one hand, game devs should strive for quality, and do the best they can.
But what if their best isn't very good?
I imagine it like this:
gamedev: Hey everybody, check out this brand new kick ass awesome game I made just for you guys!!!!!!!!! :D
customer: Are you kidding me? THIS is the best you could do? This f*cking sucks a$$! I wouldn't play this worthless pile of sh*t if...
I know right? Plus, the tons of friends he knows in real life that probably play games on pc other than WoW...
wait...
"If they want to make a GOOD game, then they shouldn't put multiplayer on it."
Uh, what? So if a game has multiplayer in it, it isn't good in your opinion? And what do you know about making a good game?
I guess Uncharted 2 didn't teach you "multi playah suxX0rz, no mp in aneything at ALL plzzz" people. Sucker punch could deliver both, and if they want to add a multiplayer mode to their own game, then I say, more power to ...
Or they are disagreeing with you because they aren't mac users...
Damn, meant to press "agree". Accidentally diagreed :/
N4G needs a digg-like system in which you can change your agrees/disagrees if you want to.
"If you choose not to like the multiplayer then that's on you not the game."
By that logic, no multiplayer sucks.
Uncharted 2 multiplayer has the most generic weapon set I've seen. RPG, AK47, Moss, SPAS (I think it's in MP, but I'm not 100% sure), desert eagle, Dragonuv, a grenade launcher and the M4. The FAL and the M92fs are the exceptions, but the FALs zoom in sight just sucks.
At least Gears mp has some original weapons (or at the very least, very rarely used in any video game).
A charge up crossbow with exploding tips that must be used in a certain amo...
Laziness (that happens to be awesomeness as well) FTW!
Well said. Anybody that thinks a game like Uncharted 2 or a Halo game is better than a game like Shadow of the Colossus or Okami are probably just a bunch of young add-addled 13 year olds.
Those kinds of games can be good, but at their core, they're shooters. Shadow of the Colossus is a piece of art.
"simply because it's the best game of this generation, and this generation is an improvement over the last."
That's like saying your 1st child (if you had children) is better than the 2nd born child
Crap statement.
MW2 better than WaW? What are you smoking?
1. Which version are you running? I have the ps3 version, and it might be different for 360/PC users.
2. Yup, that's it. Haven't played it in like a month.
3. I do want it, but I don't want want it. There are many other games that I want that are coming out, and logically, it wouldn't be smart for me to get it when it first comes out. And I've heard that a LOT of people had the issues I had. I did my research and read a lot of reviews before I purchas...
Yes, some people care. What's wrong with that? Why try to take away excitement and enjoyment away from others by posting an implied insulting comment?
I'm sure if I went and looked through some of the things you got excited for, I could say the same thing. Getting excited over even the smallest things can only make a game more fun and the experience more enjoyable. That's fine if it's no big deal to you, but being surprised about it and posting a comment l...
