Did that converter you tried have any input lag? I've been thinking about getting one for my ps3, but I already wasted my money on a 360 esque controller that looked like a 360 but didn't quite feel like one.
The two things I don't like about the ps3 controller are the crappy convex sticks (I'd rather have concave sticks that grip my thumbs easier, because my hands tend to sweat a lot when gaming even if I'm in a cold room, and my thumbs always slip off t...

I don't really care for replaying a game once I've beaten it. Once I've beaten it, I've seen everything there is to see (I don't give two sh*ts about my score, or some little stupid easter egg) and I've done everything there is to do.
Good for you that you can be entertained by sh*t you've already witnessed, but I'm not so easily entertained. Out of the games that have come out this gen, I've only had the urge to re play a HANDFUL of them...

Sorry, but 4 hours of fun doesn't justify the 65 bucks that these people are trying to rip us off with. No one is saying that Vanquish is a bad game, just that it's way too overpriced.

It's news when the game isn't out yet. People didn't have a problem with the same Killzone 3 demo being shown over and over again from different cameras, so I don't think new (mostly) footage being shown should be that much of an issue.

You do realize that some games rely stories with characters, don't you? And that some of those character driven stories rely on romantic relationships? So why not allow developers to make some of those relationships gay relationships if they choose to do so?
I agree though that they shouldn't go out of their way to show that a character is gay, but they also shouldn't go out of their way ...

Yeah, that really pisses me off too. My friend only plays domination, yet NEVER even attempts to go capture the points. He actually thinks he's good and skilled and brags about his domination kill count. It's pathetic and annoying really.
People don't play CoD for the visuals, they play it for the smooth, fun, arcadey gameplay.
What he's talking about, is that this is a much more balanced and proper game than the trash that is MW2.

World at War has 13 maps. More if you count DLC, but I'm not going to. I assume you're talking about zombie mode though. World at War has plenty of content. Zombies was just a nice little bonus.

Different guns, different maps, different weapon customization (those first reasons are enough to make a game feel different to me), a theatre mode, character/emblem/title/gun customization, nazi zombies, combat training, wager matches, and a few other things.

The sad thing is, even if every single person who has ever visited N4G refused to purchase the next CoD game, it would only be a bump in the road when it comes to the sales Black Ops will get, so not purchasing it thinking that it will do something is useless.
I'm buying Black Ops, because it looks like it's going to be the proper sequel to CoD4, but after that, I'm most likely going to be done with CoD.
